Chapter 790:- Helpless and Defeated

After receiving the letter, Misako turned around to leave.

She purposely slowly walked out of the room. She was hoping Eldric would call her back.

Unfortunately, that never happened; his attention was never on her back. Rather, his attention was on the letter the Crown Prince had sent him. 

When she was about to close the door, she saw the Prime Minister looking pale as he read the letter. His face was covered in a layer of sweat. His hands were shaking as if he was reading something terrifying. 

'What happened?' This was what she was left wondering.

She knew that, given her position, her curiosity would not be answered. Since she couldn't get his attention, she silently left. 

Meanwhile, Eldric couldn't calm his heart.

After reading the first part of the letter, Eldric's heart was filled with fear. 

When he read the second part, that fear changed to anger.
