Time

As time slowly passed, and under Ye Feng's careful eyes, Ye Qiao slowly but surely regained her senses.

The moment she did so, though, Ye Qiao couldn't help but fall into thought.

"Not as much time has passed as I expected," mumbled Ye Qiao as she now felt the effect of time on her body.

Although thousands of years had passed inside Ye Qiao's mind whilst she was absorbing the phoenix blood, in truth, only twenty years had passed in the real world, an extremely short amount of time.

A few moments later, Ye Qiao turned her attention to her sister, who was currently staring at her and smiling.

"So that torture that you put me through was necessary for you to do this?" asked Ye Qiao as she looked at her sister, having already forgiven her for what had happened.

"No, I just wanted to have some fun."

Immediately after hearing Ye Feng's words, Ye Qiao's face froze, before being filled by anger a few moments later.

...

Unlike what most people would expect, time isn't actually very constant between regions.

Sadly though, for the change in time to be visible in the slightest, one would have to travel far beyond the edges of reality, where only nothingness existed.

Although this was impossible, which destroyed any hope of a natural time difference in any single timeline, different timelines could have very different time flows.

"As always, the techniques coming from Eight's timeline are the best, should I follow in her footsteps and try to mimic her timeline as well?" mumbled a grey haired woman, Tenth, as she stared at the infinite expanse in front of her.

As the Eight was extremely greedy, she only left a minuscule amount of resources to the other cultivators in her timeline.

Although not long after the Eight reached Rank 9, the cultivation civilisation in her Lower Realm collapsed because of lack of resources, it re-emerged after some time, using new techniques that were much more resource efficient than those from the ancient past.

"Although it would take some time or civilisation in the lower realm to re-emerge, I could help them a bit and give them some cultivation techniques from Eight's timeline," mumbled the Tenth before nodding.

A moment later, the Tenth waved her hand, causing enormous changes to happen inside of her timeline.

In a mere instant, over ninety-nine percent of all resources present in all the nearly infinite worlds disappeared and were stored in a random place by the Tenth.

Of course, the Tenth did not pay much attention to these things, as, although she had taken nearly everything of value, and would continue to do so with everything produced, she held no personal interest in these things, unlike the Eight.

At the same time, 2 immensely powerful, Rank 8 beings from the Tenth's timeline raised their heads and stared at the sky in horror, having realised what had just happened.

Of course, although the Tenth did not may much attention to this plan, neither of them did anything, as they were well aware of the true power of this being, who did not take action usually.

After making this change to her timeline, the Tenth turned her attention back to the tiny seal in front of her.

After the meeting with her other selves, the Tenth begun trying to find a way to break the seal that was stopping her from entering Fourteenth's timeline.

Although after spending several hundred million years trying to find a solution, the Tenth had yet to find a true one, as the most prolific Formation and Talisman Master in all timelines, she had still made some progress.

A moment later, a faint smile appeared on the face of the Tenth as she stared at the seal in front of her.

"Although this method is extremely inferior compared to an incarnation, it could still potentially work, If I make the connection," mumbled the tenth as she touched her chin, wondering if she should do that or not.

Although on one hand, the Tenth would be able to gather information from that timeline, her actions could potentially be exposed to the one sealing it.

Even though in truth, the Tenth could not be harmed in the slightest whilst in her own timeline, she still did not want to be exposed.

But even so, after a few moments, the Tenth had decided on a course of action.

'Using my connection with it in this timeline, I could extract some information from the Library,' thought the Tenth before nodding, she had decided on what to do

...

Nearby to the Three Thousand Regions, the Library of Heaven.

At this moment, a faint shadowy outline of a person had appeared inside the Library of Heaven, causing it to suddenly vibrate, as if it had met its true creator.

Of course, nobody in existence was aware of this fact at the moment.

...

Unaware of the relatively important events that were currently taking place, Ming Yun stood cross-legged and stared at the relatively large five-tailed fox in front of her.

Looked at the extremely dishevelled look of the fox, Ming Yun's eyes slightly narrowed, causing the temperature of the room.

"Xiaoqing, did you cause more trouble again?" asked Ming Yun as she looked at the fox, causing the latter to lower its head.

"Elder sister mind, Qing'er didn't do anything and those people tried to bully me, you must avenge me!" said Xu Xiaoqing as she looked at Ming Yun, causing the latter's lips to twitch.

"What did you do?" blankly asked, Ming Yun as she looked at the fox in front of her, making the latter lower her head in fear.

"I pranked some cultivators," said Xiaoqing, causing some surprise to appear on Ming Yun's face.

Normally, Xiaoqing would not target cultivators, as the vast majority had already become completely uncaring about her pranks.

The fact that Xiaoqing did so, meant that something was wrong, very wrong.

...

Looking at Xu Yanmei, who was holding a sleeping beauty with one of her hands, Ming Yun's face slightly twitched.

"Yanmei, using your own little sister to trick someone's parent into not guarding their daughter, could you be more shameless?" asked Ming Yun.
