"Just you wait Li Fengfeng, just you wait," mumbled Xia Jingfei as she clenched her fist, staring at the wall in front of her, her eyes becoming slightly red.
...
At the same time, in another location, nearby where Xia Jingfei's small Taoist Temple had existed not long ago.
Looking at the crater in front of her, Meng Lin couldn't help but shake her head.
'They didn't seem to be on such bad terms back then, and not much time has passed,' thought Meng Lin, feeling slightly relieved that she quickly fled, and didn't get involved in this fight.
"With only that formation, I don't think I would have survived," mumbled Meng Lin as she looked at the remnants of the formation which had been destroyed not long ago, feeling that it was quite a pity that she had even built it in the first place.
Soon after, Meng Lin looked in a certain direction, a faint smile appearing on her face, causing her to suddenly begin sinking into the ground.
After a few moments, Meng Lin somehow managed to disappear without a trace, leaving nothing behind.
Sometime after Meng Lin disappeared, several bugs slowly but surely made their way to her last location, seemingly searching for her.
Sadly for them though, not long after the bugs appeared, a few rocks shot up from the ground as a tiny formation, one that couldn't even be considered a Rank 1 Formation, activated.
Although the formation was extremely weak, in the end, it was still a formation after all, as such, it quickly killed the powerless bugs, as if to spite whoever was behind them.
...
Slowly but surely, Xu Yue opened her eyes, with a lazy look on her face.
But suddenly, Xu Yue moved her head sideways, staring in a certain direction, feeling three new little being form a bloodline connection with her.
In only a fraction of a moment, Xu Yue disappeared, reappearing inside of a certain room.
Looking at the silver fox, which was sleeping on a comfy bed next to three little fox cubs, a faint smile appeared on Xu Yue's face.
After a few moments of thought, Xu Yue stretched out her hands, grabbing one of the sleeping fox cubs into her arms.
'It's really quite impressive, the human was completely absorbed by the fox part,' thought Xu Yue as she looked at the little fox in her arms.
Although Xu Yue was also an Ancient God, the Ancient God part of Xu Yue was not passed down to her descendants, as its power was too strong.
Even though most humans in the Three Thousand Regions have Ancient God Blood flowing through them, its concentration was really too thin, causing no adverse side effects to them.
Even though it had been picked up, the silver fox cub had no self-defense mechanism, as it continued sleeping peacefully in Xu Yue's arms.
"Wake up little girl," mumbled Xu Yue as she looked at the little fox cub in her arms, holding it tenderly in her arms.
Although the little fox cub could not actually hear Xu Yue at the moment, not long after the latter called it out, its tiny eyes began slowly but surely opening.
Unlike mortal fox cubs, which were blind, and deaf for as long as two weeks after birth, although the senses of the fox cub were not the greatest, they seemed to already exist, not too long after birth.
Looking at the little fox, which already had a mischievous yet smart look in its eyes, the faint smile on Xu Yue's face increased in size.
"Xu Xiaoqing, Xu Yanmei, Xu Huan," mumbled Xu Yue as she first pointed toward the fox in her arms, followed by the other two foxes who were still sleeping at the moment.
Hearing Xu Yue's words, a faint smile appeared on the face of the little fox, causing it to sink even deeper into Xu Yue's embrace, placing itself into an even more comfortable position as it closed its eyes, clearly wanting to fall asleep.
Seeing this, Xu Yue stayed still, allowing the little fox to sleep well, inside her arms.
...
Two weeks later,
For the past two weeks, Xu Yue had silently stood, staring at her three little sleeping daughters with a smile on her face.
Of course, this peacefull scene was soon broken.
...
Touching the fur of her daughter once again, for the hundredth time today, Xu Yue once again smiled.
As Xu Yue carefully controlled her strength, the little fox in her arms did not wake up even once throughout the past two weeks, sleeping peacefully in her arms.
At this moment, Xu Huan, who was peacefully sleeping next to Hulli Jing, suddenly opened her eyes.
It looked as though Xu Huan had sensed the fact that her sister and mother were sleeping next to her, as such, she then tried to get up as silently as she could.
Step after step, Xu Huan carefully made her way out of her mother's fur, towards the figure that was standing a few meters ahead.
The moment Xu Huan was out of Hulli Jing's fur, she suddenly sped up before jumping.
In one single jump, Xu Huan, traveled several meters, successfully landing in Xu Yue's embrace.
Well, almost successfully, as Xu Xiaoqing then opened her eyes, staring at her sister who was now approaching her territory.
Without any hesitation, Xu Xiaoqing brandished her claws toward the invader of her territory, slapping away Xu Huan without any hesitation, causing her to fall down to the ground.
Thankfully though, Xu Yue was there to catch the little fox, bringing Xu Huan to her embrace as well.
Looking at Xu Huan, who was relatively smaller than Xu Xiaoqing, Xu Yue couldn't help but shake her head.
"You shouldn't bully your little sister," mumbled Xu Yue as she touched the smooth fur of both of her daughters with her fingers, causing both of them to relax.
At the same time, near Hulli Jing, the last of the three little foxes opened one of her eyes.
Looking at her mother's bosom, which was now relatively full, Xu Yanmei closed her eye back again, silently enjoying the empty territory her two sisters left behind with a smile on her face.
