CHAPTER EIGHTY THREE

Her father dismissed his advisors and turned to face her

"You should have some respect for me, especially when we have guests" he scolded her

"Spare me the lecture, father. I don't have time, neither do you!" She said to him

"Okay, Diane. What was so urgent that it couldn't wait and what was so secretive that you couldn't say in the presence of my advisors?" He asked 

"Your long lost foe is back" she said

"I don't understand. What do you mean by my lost lost foe?"

"I am sure you must have heard of the ripper. If you haven't, then I have some really bad news for you. You killed a man almost thirty years ago because you wanted his wealth for yourself, selfish if you ask me"

"I know who the ripper is and I know the story. Thank you for the details" he said to his daughter 

"You are very much welcome father. He is back and he is looking for you. He even made a deal with Beth to find you so he can take care of you for her" Diane said
