CHAPTER SIXTY NINE

She got up. He had knocked her down. She might have been stronger but she was still weak and he was a male wolf. He cane at her and Yale jumped at him, pushing him away from her.

"Stay out of this!" Davis said

"Or else what?" Yale asked

"Don't let me hurt you because of her. I will and I don't care whatever past we had" Davis said

Past? Beth looked at Yale and she could tell that he knew Davis before they all did and he said nothing about him.

"Oh, so you guys were friends?" Carl asked

"Something like that. Now is not the time to talk about it!" Yale said

"Then maybe you should really stay out of this. It's not your fight. It's mine" Beth said to him

"You can't fight him"

"And I can't give him Diane either and I am not your responsibility. We broke up! You left so don't come here and act like you're the loyal boyfriend and let me handle this!" She said to him
