Moment of truth

Natasha watched ethan as he walked away untill only thing she can see was a gilden loultus on gis back. But suddenly a red glow made her close her eyes. not only her but steve and hawkeye also closed their eyes against that red light and the red light covered the surrounding just like before but this time it was more bright and intense.

The ship was charged and about to fire. Majority of people closed there eyes in fear. After all no one want to see their own end.

They were prepared for the blast And moment later another Shock wave shook the whole surrounding but even after few seconds the heat or pain never came. so they opened their eyes with hope.

And what they saw would be printed in there memories till the end of their lives. The huge redish transparent dome with like shiled was coverung the large part of surrounding and was stopping the descending laser. protecting them.

They saw the laser colliding with shiled. Few seconds later laser started to dim down and then stopped completly.

All who had their eyes opened, discribed it to be so beautiful that... they thought it was the opening of the way to heaven.

After watching the shiled for while. All of their attention went toward the strand of red light connecting with the red shiled. When their gaze followed it. The red strand bought them toward a single man.

A camera man, who were capturing the most horrible insident of the human history turned his camera at the end of the red strand of light.

As cemera focused, the whole world show a man with red hair with golden shades at the end. His eyes were glowing red with golden marks under his eyes. Shining through his broken mask. His whole body was covered with thin layer of red light brightening it's surroundings.

Every one recognized him when they saw the golden lotus mark on the back of his tattered black coat. He wasn't anyone else but THE BLACK LOTUS.

Ethan was using his awakening with his whole body, without thinking of it's consequences. His awakening uses natural energy from his surroundings. Wast and infinite energy of earth itself. which is considered higher form of energy than aura. Only god knows how much he will pay for using it.

That's if he was able to take next blast and stayed alive.

Ethan was standing still with His eyes looking up and his right hand stretched toward the sky, connecting himself and red barrier with strand of red light.

On hali carrier fury was suprised at the sudden turn of events. Shocked by just how fast thing turn out so worst. But as he saw the shiled and its creator. He got new hope. as he looked at the screen he mumbled to himself "you can do it lotus...only you can do it." just like everyone else, he was also curious about who the hell was behind that mask. But survival was the everything they wanted right now, Everything else didn't matter.

Everyone were mesmerized after witnessing such a divine look of black lotus. But they also notice that he was breathing heavily and stream of blood was continuously driping from his mouth.

Zee frowned after seeing it all from his ship. He turn the lever to max power, ship was going to blast if he used the max power output. but the portal was already closed. he knew that he was going to die sooner or later. So he would make as much damage as he could before dieing.

Every one snaped out when ship started to recharge more fiercely than before. looking at ethan they didn't know if he will be able to take another one.

But they can't do anything else other than hoping and praying that he will able to bear it.

In between all this. one man began to shout. "you can do it." and then second one then third... like this in just few moment everyone join in and began to shout out Loud. And desperate cheers started to resonate arround the whole city.

But none of those reached to ethans ears. more precisely he couldn't hear anything at all. his ears were ringing continuously. He can taste the metalic taste of blood in his mouth. He felt like he was deep in ocean and sinking further under the pressure of gallons of water like he was going to get crushed any time.

But he still held. He held, with Devoid of any other thought. Acting on only one sentence repeating inside his mind "just little longer" telling himself that he had to hold on for just little longer.

And then finally the moment of truth arrived and the laser decent on red shiled with intention of obliteration.

Again shock wave much stronger than before shook the very earth itself.
