After buying groceries, we return to city Z, specifically in Saitama's apartment. During the night, it is as dark as I expected it to be. The only light comes from the middle room on the third floor—which is Saitama's apartment unit.
"What are you waiting for, Fubuki?" he asks.
Instead of following him to the stairs, I apply my psychic on my feet and make myself hover. I enter his unit thru the veranda where I see Genos inside. He is taking care of food and the table.
Saitama follows me with my bags of clothes and groceries. He taps on the door and Genos opens it.
"Good evening, Saitama-sensei," he greets. Then his eyes shift to me. "What business do you have here, Fubuki?" he asks.
"I'm going to stay for the night," I answer and sit in front of the table with the prepared vegetable.
Genos frowns and looks at Saitama, waiting for an answer, but Saitama only shrugs his shoulders.
"Is there something wrong, Saitama-sensei?" he asks.
He starts to remove his hero costume and leaving only a shirt, pants and socks. In my eyes, he looks better in plain clothes. Afterward, he walks towards the corner of the small unit and crouch on it, before saying, "I dropped my wallet somewhere."
"Is that why Fubuki will sleep here?!" Genos blurts out. "Are you getting blackmailed?!"
I smirk. "Nope," I answer, my chin a little bit high. It might have worked because he is looking daggers at me now.
"Settle down, Genos. Let's just eat."
"I prepared the meal and thus, I am not allowing Fubuki to share it."
"Don't be such a tightwad. Fubuki will start coming often."
A wide smile appears on my face. At least Saitama is keeping the end of the bargain. I sit in front of the table, beside Saitama. There are only two sets of utensils on it and so I use it.
"You don't need to eat anyway, so I'm going to take your place," I say.
He bristles at that. "Do you want to be Master Saitama's disciple?!"
"Of course not," I answer. Besides, he will become my disciple. He will become a huge addition to my team. I take in the food. It tastes nice, so Genos might be studying how to cook. Instead, I say, "If you want to cook better meals for Saitama, I can teach you, but you need to become my disciple under Blizzard Group."
I watch him tense. His irises become smaller as he glares at me. I can also sense his body starting up. "You—"
"Genos, just get another set of utensil and join us," Saitama interjects.
"Yes, Saitama-sensei," he says instead. His anger vanishes into thin air. He obeys and goes to the kitchen.
****************************
Afterwards, the futons are laid out. There is one for Saitama, but none for Genos. I did add one for me beside Saitama since the room is tiny, so he had no other choice.
"You don't sleep?" I ask Genos.
"I go to Sleep Mode, if that's what you are asking."
"Okay," I say.
I go to the small bathroom and take a quick shower. I look at myself in the mirror. I look pretty and sexy. An off-shoulder black shirt and just underwears—a common sleepwear. However, I am in a unit with two males. So, I take shorts and wear it instead. I take another look at the mirror. Perfect. Not only Saitama, but that little boy will be sure to appreciate my beauty.
I go out of the bathroom and present myself in front of the men. They did not even glance at me! Genos is leaning over a wall, his eyes closed. I move closer to him and sit before him. So, cyborgs also sleep huh? I can even hear a slight humming from his body. Is it his body trying to recuperate? Or trying to save up energy? Besides, he still has a living part in his body that needs rest and nutrients.
After checking out on Genos, I crawl towards my futon. Saitama is already sleeping. I click my tongue. Did I spend too much time on the bathroom? I was planning to start my seduction plan tonight!
Frustrated that he wasn't able to see how pretty I look, I slip into the covers and close my eyes.
After half an hour, I open them again. Damn it! I can't sleep! I am wide awake! I glance at Saitama. He is sleeping soundly with both his arms stretched out on his side. I sit up and watch him. He is wearing a striped sleepwear. Is he perhaps being conscious about me? That's definitely a nice thought.
Smiling to myself. I crawl towards him and share his blanket. He's warm. Liking the idea, I lay my head on his arms and snuggle a little bit closer to him—not too much that my heart will burst from my chest. Just enough so I can still sleep peacefully—enough that his smell of soap can still lull me to sleep. This is nice. I might get an addiction to this. And so, when I close my eyes, sleep easily finds me.
I didn't notice the passage of time when I hear the humming of the machine before I hear Genos saying, "Why the hell are you acting so familiar with Saitama-sensei?!"
Slowly, I open my eyes. The first I've sensed is the hard chest where my arms lay including the hard legs where mine is. And then, my cheeks heat up as I realize that I am hugging Saitama in his sleep! I sit up from the bed—a futon that I am sharing with him!
My chest thumps loudly in my ribcage. I crawl away from him and go to my own bed, which looks to be untouched.
"I'm—" I'm about to say sorry in my panic, when I stop myself. I cross my arms across my chest. Why should I say sorry for sleeping beside Saitama?! We haven't done anything except embrace! Or rather, I'm the one who hugged him the entire night!
Another blush creeps up on my cheeks. Stop with the fucking reaction! Besides, I am conscious when I slip into the covers with him!
"You!" Genos takes a hold of my collar.
Instead of being afraid, I say, "If you want to take a peek on my breast, you should have asked nicely."
Genos suddenly lets me go and I drop on my futon. He looks disgusted as he glares at me. "From now on—"
"Genos, what's wrong?" It's Saitama, finally waking up from his slumber.
I watch him and my mouth opens wide. He looks so defenseless and unaware, and somehow, I want to crawl back into his arms and—I hit my head in consternation. I should seduce him, not the other way around!
"I will cook breakfast," I offer. Besides, I need to leave this place or else I will burst in embarrassment. Moreover, this emotion that's rising from my chest is bad news.
A hand reaches for my wrist and Genos asks, "Do you even know how to?!"
I groan. Without looking at him, I withdraw my hands. "I live alone, so of course, I know how!" I say a little too loudly. And then I dash towards the kitchen so they won't see the redness on my cheeks.
