Tag team

With all his primary weapons still being recharged, Kevin had no choice but to use his bare fists. Fortunately, his A.I. had a firm grasp of several martial arts techniques. 

The first Reaver had gone down rather easily because Kevin had taken it by surprise, giving it no chance to counterattack. Against the second Reaver, Kevin no longer had that advantage. It had managed to get the drop on them and was now holding Suzy hostage.

With one great leap, Kevin closed the distance and landed right in front of the Reaver. Surprisingly enough, the Reaver backed away instead of trying to attack Kevin from up close. 

"Come back here, you bastard!" Kevin yelled, breaking off into a sprint.
