Spotlight

After telling Kylie both Jonathan and Angela's name the trio stood up and began making their way to the sleeping bags where no one else had gone yet. Many had stood up and began walking there after seeing Jonathan, Kylie, and Angela go in that direction but they were the first ones to make a move.

"Do you think the sleeping bags are like the chairs that only the owner can touch it?" Kylie questioned as they neared the sleeping bags.

Jonathan thought about the possibility of it but when he remembered the guy who was shot off into the void and impaled on spikes with no mercy by the game runners he had come to his own conclusion.

"I don't think they will do that. The only reason they did the thing with the chairs was so that everyone got their correct name. I think going forward it will be much different." Jonathan said voicing his thoughts.

Soon enough Jonathan was proven correct when they began testing the sleeping bags and all three of them could touch the sleeping bag. They then tested it to see if getting inside of it had any difference but even after each of them took a turn getting inside of the sleeping bag there was no difference anywhere, not even a little spark of electricity.

"I guess you were right." Kylie said slightly shocked as she got out of the sleeping bag. She had thought that since sleep was so vital and a vulnerable place they would each be assigned a place but it seems she had been mistaken.

"Hmm this could cause some problems in the future but hopefully it doesn't come to something like that. Let's go to that cabin back there." Jonathan said hinting at a possible terrible outcome but they could only hope for the best at the moment and hope that the kindness that everyone had been showing each other so far lasts.

Right as the Trio got within 25 yards of the cabin Kylie and Angela suddenly jerked back with a great force making them both fly in the air before crashing onto the ground, "AGH!" Both of them grunted in pain as they landed.

"What just happened?! Are you alright?!" Jonathan said in confusion as the two suddenly flew backward and he was left completely fine at the same spot.

"What do you mean what happened and why are you still completely fine?!" Kylie yelled in confusion as she got up from the ground.

Angela was also rubbing her head in pain as she sat up looking toward Jonathan in confusion before her eyes focused on something else completely, "What's that?!" Angela asked pointing above Jonathan.

Jonathan and Kylie both looked up quickly wondering what in the world Angela was talking about and what they saw was beyond their comprehension. Above Jonathan was a blue force field of sorts. It was almost impossible to see without extreme concentration since it was very thin and the color was barely visible. Jonathan currently had his body halfway through it but he didn't feel anything which quickly weirded him out.

"What in the world." Jonathan said as he backed out from the force field slowly walking toward Angela and Kylie.

"What kind of technology is this?!" Kylie said in confusion as she looked at the force field in front of her.

A crowd had begun forming behind the trio since many had seen Angela and Kylie shoot backward suddenly and many were wondering why such a thing happened. It was such a big deal that within a few minutes all 99 people in the room were looking at the force field cautiously.

"Should I try to walk through again?" Jonathan whispered to Kylie and Angela since he didn't want the rest hearing him just in case it caused a ruckus that he had the ability to slightly make it through.

Kylie went into thought for a moment before whispering back, "I don't think that would be smart. We should wait and see what happens." Kylie responded.

Jonathan wasn't a 100% certain on why they should hide it from everyone but he trusted Kylie's judgment and decided to keep it a secret for now or at least that's what would have happened if not for the fact that The Watcher had a different agenda.

Under the watch of all 99 people in the room the screen showing The Watcher appeared once more just behind the force field that blocked everyone's path to the cabin. It was the same scene as usual with The Watcher standing behind a desk with a microphone and the cat mask.

"Hello everyone, I hope you all have enjoyed your meals. It seems you have finally found the force field we have placed in your resting room and no it was not an accident that it was placed there." The Watcher started catching everyone's attention immediately as they continued talking.

"The reason for this cabin is quite simple. It's a place that guarantees you safety and relaxation between challenges but of course with that you will begin asking what it takes to be able to go to such a place and the answer to that is simply be the best. At the end of every challenge someone who filled certain criteria will be given access to the cabin until the next challenge. Once a new challenge is announced and started it's back up for grabs. For this past challenge the criteria were quite simple and that was to be the most helpful person on the platform. Someone who would risk themselves to save the lives of others and share their knowledge on how to pass each part. Of course the winner this time is Jonathan!" The Watcher said with excitement.

When Jonathan heard his name he froze for a second wondering what he should do. He glanced toward Kylie wondering if he should walk forward and own it or stay in the crowd since no one knew his name but before they could talk about it a spotlight came out of nowhere circling around him and pointing him out in the middle of the crowd.
