Joshua and the girls parked the wagon in the alley and made their way into the strange merchant's shop. They were honestly surprised by how clean and orderly the entire place was. A stark contrast to the alley right outside. The walls were covered in assorted weapons, all looking to be of fine to excellent quality. In the center were cases containing various plate and chainmail armors.
"I didn't expect this." Joshua said, his voice sounding impressed. "You really take care of your shop, don't you?"
"That I do." The man replied. "My name is Maximillian Marcus, and this shop is my legacy. As you may have guessed my family were once poor dirt farmers, meaning we were poorer than poor. But with the opening of the dungeons, we were able to sell wares to the passing adventurers. Slowly we build up funds over the years.
