The door to the random room Neveah had entered came open. Neveah quietened her sobs but she did not bother glancing up to see who had just walked in, she could already sense Kirgan's presence before he entered.
Neveah swiftly displayed as much composure as she could source for in her state, but it did not do much because the moment Kirgan stepped in, it was clear he could tell.
"Neveah..." Kirgan said uncertainly, standing by the door as he took in the scene.
Neveah winced visibly, that look of sympathy was what she detested the most. That look made her feel weak and helpless, much too fragile and all the things Neveah did not ever wish to be again.
"I...will get Tara." Kirgan quickly thought up a solution and was about to leave again but Neveah stopped him.
One witness to this side of her was already more than enough.
"No...no, I am fine. Do not... make this a big deal. I just need a moment." Neveah dissuaded Kirgan, her voice hoarse.
