Neveah stood on the wall of the light hall, gazing out to the barrier that was only barely visible, far up ahead.
The barrier still gave off that warm golden glow if one looked long enough, or perhaps it was only in Neveah's eyes that it's form and appearance was permanently changed.
Neveah felt a strange way just looking at the barrier like this, there was something it triggered, a dense of connection of sorts...feeble, but it was there.
Neveah did not dare contemplate it, she had decided to shut Demevirld out completely and she had promised the same to King Jian.
That meant she could not afford to entertain any thoughts or curiosity towards it as that would stir Demevirld up again.
Demevirld on his own part was silently brooding, churning and making it's displeasure known. Neveah could sense it every so often, making attempts to influence her mood and thoughts, but it was not yet strong enough to get past Neveah's mind block.
