Raging Mountain (18)

Lucien cannot see any creatures in Keith's forearm.

But he knew something moved. Or reacted, especially when the roots attacked Keith. It's the one responsible for instantly freezing the medicinal herb.

"Can you heal me and Jeffrey's poisoned wounds?" Keith raised the herb at his eye level.

"You can, right?" Keith squeezed the stem in his hand. 

The medicinal herb felt the freezing skin of the human in front of it. The small leaves in its body began to stiffen due to the cold.

"Can you do it now?" 

The medicinal herb trembled in his hand. It did not reacted to Keith at first. But after a few seconds, it launched another attack.

The roots explode and circled around Keith's neck, choking him to death. 

This time, Lucien saw it clearly. 

Something moved in Keith's forearm, it crawled towards his neck and made contact with the root.
