Lucien can see the panic and tension rising in their eyes. The fear of not knowing who was ambushing them.

Lucien wasn't planning to kill everyone. But he was left with no choice. He had an inkling feeling these species won't leave them alone if they ever kill one of their kins.

He had seen a lot of cannon fodders in the 'Slaying the Demons'. Many of which are trying to seek revenge against the protagonist because of their killed families, friends etc.

And each of them all turned up dead.

Before Lucien can take another shot, a small hand covered his eyes. He felt his Space Shoot gun was taken away from him.

"Hey!" Lucien protested. He tried to remove the hand from his eyes. And he caught a glimpse of Alicia's eyes turning crimson before his sight was covered again.
