It was unfortunate, but that night the general didn't chase after Yu Xiaoguang, and as a result Mei Deng went back home, only to meet Chunhua waiting at the gate, holding a blanket in her arms.
"Welcome home young master." She said calmly as she wrapped the blanket over his shoulders, keeping the cold away.
"Has Da-Xia woken up yet? And how's Bingwen doing?" He thought to ask, not caring to hide the disappointed look on his face.
Musing to himself he grumbled, 'If that general won't get off his high horse, he has another thing coming if he thinks I'll apologize for what I said.'
"They're both awake and eating dinner." She answered he nodded in acknowledgement and turned to go inside, but was held back by Chunhua.
"Huahua is anything wrong?" He asked looking at her directly, 'Now that I look again she looks pale. Is she sick?' Mei Deng placed his palm on her forehead and checked her temperature.
