The next morning came fast, with Chunhua and the rest pacing about the Chan family house, evident traces of sleeplessness and worry were visibly seen on their dark circled faces.
Fu Bao who had spent the entire night fuelling the fire that kept them warm, was finally able to rest, once the sun shone, giving them it's natural warmth. He dropped the shovel he was using and took a sweep of everyone's faces, comparing and contrasting.
It was only when Dou Wei emerged from Chan Zian's bedroom door, where she had spent the night, waiting on old master Chan and Lihua. That, everyone's features regained life.
"How is he?" Chan Zian asked, marching forward, almost seizing the troubled woman by her collar. However, Ming Baozhai who had had his eyes on his classmate the entire night was swift to intervene.
"Lihua is resting and will continue once she has enough energy." Dou Wei replied him, her eyes devoid of emotions as she spoke.
