Chapter 114 - Calypso

For the longest, Caelum had already noticed that they were being followed by a group of people with intent to kill observing them. He didn't feel any pending danger, only the intent and guess that it is some of the Artificial lifeforms that protect the server game. It wasn't an issue for him to kill them since they'll likely be resurrected soon after. He just has been quiet and waiting until they strike as his group soon arrives in a small village. 

It was extremely quiet that one could hear the sound of their footsteps as they went to look to make sure they weren't anyone. 

"What's that!?"

Caelum shouted, getting the girls' attention as they saw an altar with a box on top of it. Upon closer inspection, he is able to sense some seal inside and strangely a soul that isn't even an artificial life but a full on living one. Alex was a bit confused since they weren't barriers or challenges in obtaining what seemed to be Calypso, one of the weapons of Atlas that were Hyas which was a powerful sword and Dione was a powerful rifle weapon. 

Nova and Alex argue for a moment while Caelum senses something incoming and catches an arrow about to pierce his eyes. It wouldn't do any damage since his durability is higher than average humans thanks to his [ Viltrumite Physiology ].

"We got company!"

Caelum shouted as Alex cast what seemed to be a barrier as the game enforcer revealed themselves and confronted the group. Alex seemed on edge and felt scared with her tone not wanting to die and be like Benjamin who was their classmate bully and her brother's lap dog that had died recently.

"I see, it's true people die if they are killed in the game."

"Yeah, I just knew about it after reading in the forum but some say that only an asshole had died. But I don't want to find out if it's true!"

"Yosh, I was itching for some fun! Nova, Alex can you handle some of them?"

He glances at Nova who seems to take out a Rifle revealing herself as the owner of Dione, the weapon of Atlas and showed that the tales of the most skilled sniper of the game was not because of the weapon but the user and shot the one far away and teleported to it. Caelum whistled at the spatial teleportation seems to be a sort of divinity or authority rather than magic. It might be a cheat code in the game or Law itself. 

Caelum flexes his muscle taking a stance before vanishing, surprising Alex who finally awoke from her initial fear and began to mock the game enforcer transforming into an enormous raptor dragon. Caelum saw this happen smirked as his fist struck one of the enforcers who was a woman by the way.

'Well, my fist is gender neutral.'

He performed a series of precise strikes displaying his enemy before knocking them out cold by a swift kick and continued to defeat them before any of them could even realize what was happening. Caelum couldn't help but grin at the essential since he was training his techniques rather than sue Ki or any energy beside what his body provided. As Viltrimite it was important for him to hold back his brains would have been splatter across the battlefield. 

It didn't long for the battle to be over, easily defeating everyone. Caelum only complained that they were too few in numbers to continue his excitement. He Nova walking toward him and immediately praise for her help.

"Hehehe it wasn't that impressive. I just point then pull the trigger. "

"Oh come on, no need to be humble. It's awesome seeing you gun down them. Can't help but think it's strangely hot to be honest."

Caelum's taste in strong women was influenced by his dragon and Saiyan Bloodline even if it may not be physically as long as there is a strong trait then it would attract him. Nova heard this seem to blush, taking the compliment to heart. 

"You two. I saw you went like bam! Then boom! Ending with swoosh!"

Nova tried to copy his movement and failed miserably making Caelum chuckle then noticed that she wasn't wearing her eyepatch.

"You're eyepatch!? Are you alright without it?"

"Yeah, in the real world then I might get blind if I take it off for more than a few minutes but in Eternum it at least minimizes beside some dry eyes. Still I don't want that."

She said and took out her eye patch from her pocket. Caelum thought of fixing it later but for now she heard Alex shout and about to look at her.

"It will be the last thing you'll do if you try taking a peeking!"

Caelum can see her clearly using Divine sense but didn't argue and went to help find her robes looking around until finding it on some rocks analyzing it. He instantly saw every flaw imaginable about the robe and understood some of the limitations of why it was designed in such a way. 

'Guess, I'll make some equipment for her and Nova. Now that I think about it, Alex does have a strong affinity for magic.'

He started walking back while peering through Alex's soul trying to see if there's anything and a bit to find out that she has some Elven blood inside her, not physically but magically meaning her real body has some block elven DNA inside her. 

"I hope you didn't try anything funny with my clothes!"

Alex shouted, taking her clothes from Caelum who kept his eyes covered by his other hand. 

"Hey, I can craft you some equipment if you want. This elven silk has numerous flaws in them. Not to mention, it should be worn by an elven who receives a Blessing by the Gaia."

Caelum said while Alex started dressing herself a bit annoyed at how the dress was then heard Caelum was a bit confused.

"Craft? Bless? What are you talking about?"

"Well, I have a special skill gifted from a quest I did in one of the 'Server' and gain the ability to know any equipment and their flaws giving me ways to create near flawless items."

It was not even a lie since the server could be parallel worlds that are linked by the computer programming which is likely to be a set of runic arrays that allow a dimensional travel despite the difference in physics. Caelum felt that it only included worlds that are not specifically anime or any other media but rather an alternative world within his reality of earth. 

He at least knows that multiverse is only a term used in one particular reality that is similar while Omniverse is the connection of every multiverse and higher dimension like the 4th dimension. It is extremely complicated to explain since the concept itself already burns Caelum's mind by trying to sense the 4th dimension which he theories to be a singularity of space and time. 

"What? Are you a bit of a cheat if that's true!?"

"Yes, Yes I am."

Caelum smirked copying a certain cartoon while Alex contemplated his offer since she doesn't want to just wear a skimpy outfit and despite how she speaks to Caelum, believes he won't design a more skimpy outfit. 

"What's the payment? You won't do this for free."

He just felt shaking his head knowing Alex is one who dislikes owning someone even though putting his knowledge to practice is enough of a payment knowing that he won't be able to convince her. 

"I was planning on doing it for free but knowing you then how about this, can you come to our family BBQ?"

"BBQ? Why would you invite me? Also this isn't even a payment though?"

"Hey did someone say BBQ!?"

Nova joined their conversation having her spirit lit up when hearing BBQ being mentioned. Caelum chuckled seeing her reaction.

"That's right, my family is planning on having a BBQ but the exact date is still undecided. You can invite your parent Nova, the more, the merrier!"

"Awesome! Message me when." (Nova )

"Sure, now wanna join?"

Caelum turned his attention back to Alex who was still thinking about it but just gave up. 

"Fine! You have my number anyway. Just don't regret it if I can't come."

"I won't. Now then…"

The three turned back their attention to the glowing box in the altar walking toward it and started to argue what the weapon could be and who should be the one to open it. However, before they could do anything the box glowed nearly blinding them then once the light went down they were able to see that the box was gone and what took it places was something unbelievable. 

It was a gorgeous woman wearing a white outfit with pale blue hair and creamy white skin. Her body was at least at the top least of most curvaceous women below Sapphire at her goddess form, near around Nancy and his mother while close enough to Irene and Selene. The most striking feature was her ears and the strange power surging from her. 

'A Law?? No, she's more like a nexus of dimensions in this strange multi dimensional world.'

Caelum observed her power using Divine sense to peer through only to be stared at by the woman for trying and quickly cancel it. She was an enigma in the game that made him excited to uncover the secret behind it.

"...who are you?"

"Oh fuck! It talks!"

Nova swore morphing her weapon into a blunderbuss gun pointed at the elf woman who was unfazed by it and more confused than anything.

"...should I not be able to?"

"Well, I…I don't know! Who are you?"

"My name is Calypso."

"C-Calypso?"

*Daughter of Raewyn Princess of the Sy-tel-quessir."

Still a bit confused, the group soon introduced themselves to Calypso and began to gain more information about the situation, giving an insight into who she was telling them that someone called the Immortal had trapped her after fearing her power and supposed to free her people from something. She also mentions being home to another world that laws, cultures, society and many others are completely different with many parallel worlds. 

Alex mentions that it might be the Server that Calypso calls World, a bit surprised and asked if they were able to travel to a different world which was briefly explained by Alex who was impressed by what she thought was an AI. 

After a while, Calypso mentioned her chains around her neck telling them that it was suppressing her powers and Alex recommended using her magic to break, which she promptly did after Calypso asked if she was a half elf because of her appearances of white hair and magical affinity. Caelum heard perk up when he heard the elf girl that she was intrigued by the forbidden union of humans and an elf seemed into some taboo stuff. 

"You did it…I could feel my power…"

In that moment of freedom, Caelum could feel something raising his eyebrow looking at Calypso who seemed to have used her magic rather well and look at the two women who seemed frozen in place.

"I…I can't move! What's happening!"( Nova )

"Me too! Dammit! How can a weapon act this way! It should be the one obeying us!"( Alex )

"Do you think I would easily trust any of you? Don't worry I'll free you once I confirm if you don't have any connection to the immortals."

Caelum just watches in interest even though he can easily move and decides to see through it all since they weren't any intent to kill and not to mention it fascinates him since it was rather strong noticing how her power is truly a nexus that connects to different worlds in the server. Calypso seems to be using a sort of apathy sensing while also projecting her thoughts to Alex and didn't long for her to find that they were any associate with the immortals and remove the spell before changing the weather. 

"It appears I owe you all an apology. I just don't want to make the same mistake of trusting someone that easily because the last time I did….well you already see."
