Chapter 48 - Pervert

The next day, Caelum was now stretching his muscles, never expecting that the school would have swimming lessons. He was particularly fond of the exercise since the sensation made him feel relaxed and free. His classmates were attracted to his physiques having the perfect swimmer body. The teacher taught them the basic exercise and showed his skill. He was glad that his skill had not dulled one bit and cleared it rather easily. 

He's always been talented in swimming even before gaining the [ Highest possible talent ]. Caelum got off the water learning that it only took him a few seconds to reach the finish line and back. 

'This feels really nice…maybe mom and the others could have some fresh air. It feels great to swim and the last time I was in the water was my trip to the water temple.'

Caelum reminisced about the past while getting out of the pool and drying himself where his hair draped down into his face before combing it back. His hair was so long that it reached his chin. He then watched to the side where his classmate took their turn and noticed a young woman wearing the school swimsuit that tightly hugged into her body with beautiful tattoos through her body and white hair which made him recall Axel.

'They're uncanny, maybe their twins? Hmm, based on that tattoo maybe she doesn't like her family? It's quite obvious to be honest. I believe her name is…Alexandra Bardot?'

[ Another one! ]

'Cereza….stop that.'

[ Oh come, Darling. You can't deny she's a looker and might as well save her. ]

'...I guess but it's best to not act like I'm an ass kissing her. Though, I must say she's quite the swimmer.'

Caelum watched her as she stroked her way through water appearing like a mermaid and without his skill boosting his talent would likely lose to her. She finished a few seconds short to beat Caelum much to her disappointment and glance in his direction.

'Who is he? I couldn't believe that he beat me…'

Her expression was clear that she was surprised that he was able to swim faster than him. Caelum noticed his glances and merely smiled before giving a friendly smile but she ignored him leaving a warily smile and before long the other student took showers and headed back to their classroom. Caelum noticed Dalia and wanted to apologize but she spoke first. 

"Well, how was your first swimming class?"

"The best! It's great that I'm able to swim like this after so long. You know how much I like swimming."

"Now that you mention it, yeah. I almost forgot how you always beat me in races and even the same as me once when I got cramps."

"That's right! It was really scary and I thought that I would lose you but I'm glad that I was able to pull you to safety."

"I appreciate you saving that time but that's the reason why I prefer exercising on land."

"You know, I'm really glad you're talking to me. I was just going to apologize for it since…well you know."

"Don't get your hopes up since I still haven't fully forgiven you."

"Then I'll just make up with you. If there is anything I could help you then don't hesitate to ask."

"Great! Hope you don't back out!"

"Me? Have you forgotten what this cousin of yours is capable of!? There nothing"

"Sure sure."

"Anyway, I was expecting you to be the top swimmer here but after seeing that white girl stroking through the water. That's when it became clear she's the top player!"

"You mean Alex? Yeah she's the best when it comes to it!"

"Why haven't I seen her in the past few days?"

"That's because she usually skips classes for a couple of days to even a whole week."

"Are you two friends?"

"Not exactly but we're close enough. She doesn't seem reserved? I don't know her reason but that's how she is like a lone wolf."

"Is that so? I recalled that her full name is Alexandra Bardot, maybe she doesn't want people to ass-kiss her which is probably why she prefers being a lone wolf?"

"Wow, aren't you observant? Yeah that's what I believe."

"Hey Dalia, Aren't you going to hit the shower?"

 "Hi Alex! Yeah, I'm coming! Damn girl, you look like you were flying on the water today!"

"Hahaha really? I spent all day training yesterday. I'm trying to improve my skill especially after seeing that guy. Do you know him?"

"Yeah, he's my cousin."

 "Sup! I'm Caelum, I must say that is quite amazing and I'm being genuine in case you think I'm ass kissing. I don't really care much if you're Bardot so long you're not like that entitled young master over there."

Caelum glances at Axel who was messing with their other classmate and makes quite the impression on Alex who is always on guard because of who she is.

"You know what, your cousin is alright in my book."

"Hah just be careful when we shower."

[ Oof!! She got you there, Darling. ]

"Oh come on! It was an accident!"

"Perverted is still perverted."

"*Sigh* alright you win. Anyway, don't get the wrong idea, I'm not a maniac pervert!"

"If you peek I'll just plock those eyes of yours."

"Jeez, brutal? Putting that aside, can we have a race next time?"

"Hah then perv on me while we're alone? Yeah fat chance."

"Fuck…."

"Fufufhahaha that's what you get! Let's go, Alex!"

Caelum saw them go into the female shower while he thought of taking one when a knee strike was about to hit him, hardly felt the energy to flinch nor dodge and only lightly tap the assailant. 

"Gaaah!! F-Fuck what did you do!! That hurts!!"

"Nice try, ass kisser. Don't worry I'll let you try and fail again."

"Bastard! I promise that I'll make your life and thos-"

"Now now, be careful what you say next, Trash."

He induced fear yet this would only fuel his hatred toward Caelum which is the thing he wanted. The utmost despair is the most enjoyable and being [ ArchDemon ] gave him an racial trait that gains more [ Demonic ] energy when someone is in this despair. Axel was extremely shaking yet still wanted childish vengeance to Caelum. 

The young master could try to ruin his family life if they can when Caelum already made sure to know when exactly they are in trouble and know their location because of [ Harem Parameter ]. They could get Nancy fired but Caelum had businesses that would invest in hiring her. 

Caelum left them and went to take a shower since their next class was about to start. Once he's done quickly gets into his uniform and heads to his classroom. The class went as usual with boring lectures and activities with most being slept through by Caelum. The teacher paired the student into a pair for the upcoming upgrade next week and Caelum paired up with Alex. He noticed how she was about to leave and quickly called her attention.

"Wait up, Alex!"

"It's Alexandra."

"Oh...Sorry, Alexandra it is."

"What do you need?"

"Uhmm…It's about the project next week, I was wondering when can we start discussing it? I would have chosen my place but there would be a lot of distracting noise."

"Saturday afternoon. I'm mostly alone in my apartment anyway."

"Sure sure, hope you don't mind if I give my number? You can decide where we can meet."

"...I'm surprised that you didn't ask for my number instead."

"Hey, like I said I'm not trying to ass-kiss and you seem to be the kind of person who wants genuine people rather than those wanting to befriend you because you're a Bardot."

Alex's impression grew even further since she can see that he doesn't have any interest in her because she's the daughter of the richest person in the world unaware that the person in front of her is more than just her classmate but someone who tops her father in net worth and is practically a god in the world. Caelum only boasts when around his enemies in hope to annoy them. 

"Hmph, you're not bad besides being a pervert."

"I deserve that to be honest….putting that aside, here's my number."

The two exchange numbers before Alex heads out while Caelum went to find Annie, Mary and Liliena to play some Eternum. He found the two just finishing up their class and walked their way to the gate since Mary had her drive waiting. They were going to play in Annie's favorite server which is a futuristic type of world. 

Once they arrive at their home, Caelum goes ahead changes into casual clothes before hopping into the game where he appears the same except his clothes were heavily cyberpunk. He glance to see the girls in their in game avatar with Annie having longer hair. 

"Now we're all here, Anything we should do?"

"Best thing is to do some dungeon raids. This server is a mixture of magic and science where monsters roam the land." 

"Hahaha It's time to get grinding fellas!" 

"Hold, Liliena. I've got a presence for three, Here!"

Caelum took three weapons which were a Katana that seemed to have a vibrating blade, a backpack that had a small blade and finally a spear that could transform into a gone. 

"What!? This is [ Murasama ] that is only discovered by 5 players! It's only below the growth weapon of Atlas!! I recall that it's a weapon that doesn't require level to equip."

"I was grinding when I stumbled upon the item…"

The truth was he looted it from an arrogant guy who tried fighting him but ended up pummeled by Caelum at the time. He was disguising himself and was known as "Silver Sky". It was a lot easier to go all out and level up since no one knows who he is since most died near instantly. He was basically a living legend to the game but hardly cared about it. The weapon he had gained inspired him in crafting numerous weapons. 

"Then why didn't we hear your name annoice!?"

"I was trying to remain anonymous and I mean I would basically be targeted by everyone if they learn about it." 

"God, did you kiss the goddess luck or something!"

"Of course, I mean I'm looking at them right now!"

"That sounded really cheezy."

"But you like it, right?"

Caelum smirked as they blushed before taking the weapon where Annie gained the [ Muramasa ] while the backpack blade was given to Mary and the spear rifle obviously given to Liliena. Once they were equipped, they went to explore the server and went for their first dungeon raid.  

The monsters were robotic creatures similar to Warframe mobs and Caelum used his ice magic to slaughter the monster while Annie did the same seemingly having a type of gravity magic and used it on his balde quite effectively. She can't deny how badass she looks in age compared to real life since she's more timid but fortunately he tampered the game and helped influence her character a bit. Not drastic but enough to boost her confidence and boldness.

On the other hand, Liliena uses her spear rifle by piercing then pulling the trigger that sent the creature flying and Mary amazingly uses the backpack blade to manipulate a hovering blade that slices through the enemy like Irelia. They soon arrived at the boss and took their opportunity to coordinate them. 

After a while, they manage to defeat the boss and gain quite the reward which was money along with monster materials that could be sold or created into a new weapon. The group decided to log off since they needed to take a break after the intense battle. 

Caelum woke up back into his room look to the window and found that it was raining once again making him sigh, then headed to the kitchen where his mother and everyone else was at the dinner table.
