Truth

Having his team almost complete, Max and Jake set out to meet Jessica and get her on their team.

The two friends walked in the night, under the glowing moon. They both talked about old times before the invasion started. They talked about the good times.

"God! Those days were the best, "Jake stretched out his arms and placed them behind his head.

"Yeah. But everything has changed now. It's not like before," Max's mood changed as he thought about the zombie breakout.

He thought of all the tragedy that occurred when the invasion began and all the loved ones they lost. He sighed and stayed silent.

Jake hummed too. The past indeed was a tragedy. One they won't forget.

"If only I had succeeded in creating the antivirus, by now...," Max paused and looked up into the sky. Looking directly at the big ball of light in the sky.

" By now, those we loved and every other human would have been alive."
