"You ready to make a difference, kid?" 

"I don't really have choice so... yes?" Alex replied in an awkward and slightly confused tone.

"Yeah I guess that's true, well, whatever, this is something you would have to do even if nobody told you to, assuming you want yourself and your family to remain alive." Marcel answered nonchalantly as he played another card.

"Is that supposed to be a threat?" Alex's expression and tone became very serious and filled with...anger? Hate? It was hard to really say what it was exactly but Marcel definitely noticed.

"Would you look at this kid, he thinks he's suddenly strong enough to look at me like that without consequences just because he's killed a few normies! Jack." As Marcel said the name Jack, one of the Users playing cards at the table let out a sigh and put down his cards.
