Chapter 12.5

Diantha and her family entered after Cesar and the rest of his family asked about his health. They are a very busy individuals so naturally they couldn't keep watch of him all the time especially since he had assured them he was fine.

Diantha and the others left shortly after voicing their concern. Morever, they also kept their lips shut about Caleb's special circumstance.

...

Magby was transfered to his room right after the nurses checked him.

Now they were both llaying down on Caleb's bed.

"Magby how are you feeling?" Caleb asked while looking at his starter.

"Magby, Mag!" Magby flexed his muscles showing off he was feeling alright.

Strangely Caleb could now understand Magby's words, he knew this was the result of their MIB and Cesar and his father had already told him about how he could now understand Magby's poketalk very well because of the feat they achieved.

Caleb smiled and then patted Magby on the head.

Magby cooed and enjoyed his trainer's patting.

Although he couldn't fluently understand what Magby is saying he could feel it by their connection.

After a while Magby slept right beside him, assured and content being beside his trainer.

Caleb also was feeling a bit sleepy, so he decided to join his pokemon to dream land.

...

Caleb fell asleep right after, not knowing that his conciousness had entered his mind.

He was in a special state where no other person had experienced.

In this state, he was looking around in a blank space where nothing was present. The only think he could see was a pea-sized object that looked as if it was a seed.

Right beside it was a blazing red colored fire.

He floated near it when he willed himself to.

Seeing it from up close, Caleb was sure that it really was an orb, glowing in a resplendent magnificent golden color, as if it was branched from it the fire was linked towards it.

"What is this?"

Caleb wasn't sure what it was, so he tried touching the mysterious thing.

When his hand made contact, words suddenly flowed through his brain. Knowledge he had no prior knowledge of came with it.

"...The Orb of Arceus?"

He was mind-blown when the text's fully registered itself to his brain. According to the information that filled his mind, this small measly orb was the safe kept and treasurely guarded relic of Arceus, the one who gave birth to the progenitors and the originator of all pokemons.

A hundred millennia ago, there was a war that broke out between Pokemon and 'The Abyss', there weren't any explaination to what this Abyss were, but the creatures living in the realm were formless-ghost like formidable creatures that even Arceus had a hard time handling itself!

The war was brutal and hectic, humans and different other races at that time were just ants that don't have any standing to any given situation, they were pitiful existence that were viewed as livestock by the abyss.

However, one day, a family of humans had saved a baby pokemon from a very high heirchy of pokemons from the clutches of the vile abyss creatures, from that day those humans were blessed and given rare powers from the God of Pokemons, Arceus.

They were tasked to protect Pokemons, more so that their own kind the humanity. A selected few that were loyal and Arcues herself trusted are safe guarding the treasure that all Pokemons are worshiping.

The Pandora's Box, it has numerous names, some dubbed it as Arceus's Source of Life and some say it was the one who gave birthed to Arceus. But, the majority called it the Pandora's Box.

In the war, the Abyssal's Rebbelion came out victorious, after massacring Pokemons and having a lot of different kinds delivered to extinction, the Abyss got their objective and destroyed the box that the pokemons were desperately guarding and protecting.

However, what they didn't know was that, a human had sneaked in to the core of the base and stole the orb that holds Pandora's Box together.

That human escaped safely and no one the wiser from the abyss.

The rest were not shown, but Caleb marveled and was terrified by the pictures that came with the memories as it flowed in his mind. Even though, what he could see was all fragments and some hazy images.
