Est, The Cosmic Cube Part 1

Alex Wayne POV

Walking down the hallway of this facility, I came upon an elevator.

In it I see that there are five more floors down.

Following the radar signal, I go to the last floor below.

And as I step out of the elevator, I see a host of scientists staring at me in horror.

"Leave this place immediately or else I will kill you all" I said indifferently.

The scientists do not hesitate and quickly leave the place, they knew that someone was invading their base and seeing me here, they realized that their organization was screwed.

Ignoring these scientists, I walk over to one of the computers and connect Alexa to it to review all the information.

"Alexa, take everything you need and lead me to the Cosmic Cube" I said to Alexa

"Understood Mr. Wayne, just follow the path to your left and don't stop"

Nodding my head, I head to the location of the Cosmic Cube.

After going through a couple of rooms, I can finally see the Cosmic Cube.

It is inside a small room with walls of reinforced glass.

The Cosmic Cube is emanating a great amount of energy.

As I approach the door, I discover that it is locked with an access code.

"Alexa, open this room" I said to my AI.

"Understood, Mr. Wayne" she replied.

Seconds later, the door opens.

Upon entering, I observe the Cosmic Cube.

I can feel it, this thing is already sentient.

I know that this Cube was not really to blame, it is the fault of the people who misused it.

I don't know whether to destroy it or not. If it didn't have a conscience then I wouldn't hesitate but now that I know it does, I hesitate to do it.

I know that if I took it with me, it would be a double-edged sword.

It would protect Genosha, but it would also attract unwanted attention.

Shaking my head, I walk over to it for the purpose of using my 'Imagine Breaker'.

But then something interesting happens.

The Cosmic Cube starts to shine and takes the form of a girl about seven years old; her skin looks like it is made of glass, her hair is white, and she looks at me with eyes full of terror.

I stop a little surprised by what happened in front of me.

I also raise my eyebrow at the way this girl is looking at me.

"Do you want to destroy me, sir?" she asked me.

"Why do you think so, little brat?" I asked a little curious without answering her previous question.

The girl calms down a bit when she sees that I don't intend to do anything to her, and a little confused says:

"I don't know, I just felt it"

Listening to the words of this little Loli, I don't know what to say.

Since she has gained consciousness, I guess her instincts are strong.

"What's your name, little brat?" I asked her.

"The people of this place call me Cosmic Cube" the girl answered timidly.

After thinking for a few seconds, I say:

"What an ugly name... from now on I'll call you Est"

The girl is stunned and just nods her head.

Gently caressing her head with my left hand, I say:

"From now on you'll come with me and I'll take care of you"

"Aren't you going to hurt me, sir?" little Est asked.

"No, now you're part of my family" I said with a smile.

The girl is stunned again, but with a small smile she says:

"Okay, I'll go with you, sir"

"Call me Alex" I said.

The girl nods her head and we leave the facility.

I know that having her will bring consequences but hurting a Loli is not my style, even if she has the power to destroy the world.

It seems that I have the Kamijou-kun syndrome.
