As if I expected what was to come, I tried to slip away from the situation. But in the blink of an eye, I was already in Derek's embrace, his arms gripped my small body like chains.

"Where are you going?"

"A..Ah! I need to shower! I've been out all day, and I stink already!"

I tried to wriggle my way through, but it was hopeless. Derek was determined to keep me in my place.

He leans on my ear, "Then should I accompany you?"
