Normal Reaction

"There always is true or false news in the entertainment circle. Don't take it too seriously." Eva smiled lightly. As she was talking, her phone rang. She opened it and found it was a message from Jim.

"Heaven pepper, are you asleep?"

"Yes." She sent the word indifferently.

"How can you reply to a message when you are asleep?" Jim sent a mocking smile.

"I was awakened by you." Eva replied crossly.

After a moment of silence, the message was sent again, "I'll give you one minute to get in my car."

'ls this guy crazy? There is a camera outside in the middle of the night. If I go into his limo, the gossip will spread all over tomorrow morning.' Eva thought.

"Jim, I have a boyfriend. It's not appropriate for me to go to your place at night."

"What are you worried about? A clean hand wants no washing." Jim replied indifferently.

But Eva cared. She didn't want Vinton to misunderstand her.
