Chapter 87: We Are Just Friends

After answering the call, Charlotte Cooper closed her eyes and hummed, "What's up? Why are you calling me so early in the morning?"

"Congratulations, you're trending again."

Susan Hawk said on the other end of the call.

"People struggle so much to trend, spending money, and effort, but you don't have to. Really saves me some money."

Charlotte found a comfortable position on the pillow, rubbed it, and said, "Stop messing around, what's the reason this time?"

"You and Lucas Martin. You didn't notice last night on your way back, paparazzi took photos of us getting out of the car in the parking lot."

"And what does that prove?"

"Now everyone on the internet is saying all kinds of things. Some are saying you went to pick him up at the airport, and speculating whether or not there's something between you two…"

Susan Hawk didn't finish her sentence, but Charlotte guessed that it was probably not very pleasant.
