Confronting with the Absolute Power

Lin Cian, June, and Harry paid their respects to the ancestors of the Frey clan from the ancestral hall of the Frey clan.

The members outside the eagle mountain for the mission were all asked to retreat back to the eagle mount because the men in the clan knew the strength of their sons and their daughters. They even know that these missions were suicidal missions but they had no power to stop the elders of the Frey clan. So once they know that the elders were fallen they asked June to ask the children and the men of the Frey clan to retreat to the eagle mount.

It will take almost three months for each and every member of the Frey clan to stay. So Lin Cian suggested they wait for four months before the arrival of every member of the clan. Lin Cian asked the members of the Frey family to choose an elder among them to keep them coordinated for the four months for which they rolled their eyes and looked at each other in confusion. Because they have already chosen June they were reluctant to choose one more.

June came forward and spoke to them with her reasonable speech the people accepted to follow an old man in the group who was a farmer and also the strongest in the group. He wore decent clothes and had some wrinkles on his face while his hair was grey in color. The fact he had golden-brown colored pupils made him feel to be a gentle old man. If he was powerful enough as June then he would be a man who will let others feel to respect him once they see him.

Lin Cian and June carefully chose ten youths between the age of eighteen and twenty three. They were chose to be the envoys or the representatives of the Frey clan to accompany June and Lin Cian to the Sky drop pavillion.

The people of Frey clan were not aware of June's thoughts but Lin Cian was aware of that so he chose ten members of the Frey clan under the cover of representing them. In fact, they were chosen because June Frey doesn't want to be the leader of the Frey clan.

The reason June had was her husband because of his abilities and his mysterious identity. She was a member of the Frey clan so she know about her people. They would ask or even beg June to be their leader and accept anything but her conscience cannot accept everything because the people of the Frey clan were accepting her husband by words not by heart.

She don't want to get stuck under the emotion of choosing between her husband and her clan. Understanding her thoughts Lin Cian made his plans with the support of Harry which even made June to be proud of her husband and her foster brother.

June left the others in the care of the old man and took her leave to see her comrades. When trio with the ten people of the Frey clan reached the area were Aveda and the others stayed, they were shocked of seeing such a scene.

They could see the four members of the ghost's party were trying to defend a small house. The four were fighting against fourteen people. When Harry was ought to make a move Lin Cian stopped him "Wait! we know nothing about it. It will make it worse".

Harry stopped once he understood what Lin Cian meant leaving June puzzled. Lin Cian looked the young youths from the corner of his eyes which froze each of the representatives of the Frey clan.

While the young people of the Frey clan were looking at each other for what to do Lin Cian and Harry advanced to the people who were fighting with their comrades.

When they neared to the clash they could hear Darius shouting "no way we are giving them out". But the following words of the elderly man who was clashing with them made his words stumble.

"What about your comrades? Do you want to kill your comrades just for your promise?... just give them to me Darius"

Now Lin Cian and Harry who were ready for the ambuish could hear the words of Darius were stammering. "You..."

"Father please... let them go" a young maiden raised her heartbroken tone while her fingers were crossed and her hands clasped applying a huge pressure in her hands.

The elderly man snickered and smirked "let them go? Did you asked to do the same to him?... Did he let us go?..."

"It's your mistake. You shouldn't have attacked him. You shouldn't have used..."

"You daughter of a bi**h. How dare you?" It was very clear that the young maiden in front of him touched the forbidden spot of the old man in front of her. So he started to curse his own daughter. He was such a shameless man to do these things in the public but Lin Cian noticed something fishy about the words of the young maiden.

Lin Cian and Harry who were behind their comrades decided to have a clear look first at what's going on because it can affect the whole outcome of the happenings. Lin Cian concentrated on the spirit essence poured out from his body and he was shocked to know that their comrades not only were defending the young maiden but also an young man who was in his death bed who was in the hut between Lin Cian and his comrades.

Lin Cian understood that the old man wanted to break into the hut to injure or kill the young man so he decided to take action. Lin Cian focused the spirit essence towards the young man who was in coma. The young man could feel energy surging in his body because Lin Cian fed his body with his spirit energy as well as his soul energy hidden inside his spirit energy.

The old man and the young maiden, in the other words the father and the daughter bickered and cursed each other but it was obvious that the maiden was extending the time for the members of the ghost's party to recover. To injure and making them to rest for recuperation is not something an average man could do so it was clear that the old man was very powerful.
