Archer's POV

Kissing Mariela will never be enough, and I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss we shared on the cocoa plantation a while ago. I felt so glad she didn't p me away, and it confirmed my suspicion that she was beginning to fall in love with me too, but we both know we can't cross the line, and what we are doing would only complicate things, and I know we needed to stop.

But now that we were alone inside my room, I wanted to taste her sweet lips again. And it feels so nice to take good care of her. I know Ella doesn't have the time to enjoy herself, and she missed a lot of things growing up, and I wanted her to have the best summer of her life, and I want to let her experience the beauty of living.
