Aleia’s pov
I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing, I blindly searched for it on the bedside table. I didn’t want to wake Theo up.
“Hello” I said to the person.
“Aleia! I have been texting you since yesterday, where have you been?” a voice demanded from the other line.
I got confused, I looked down at the caller id, and it was Melissa.
“Melissa?” I inquired.
“You got anybody else texting you?” she questioned,
“Ouch bitch” I said, rolling my eyes even though she couldn’t see me.
“I have been texting you, your assistant just closed a multibillion dollar contract with your name” she gushed.
“She did what?!” I exclaimed.
“You know the building you got for three million dollars? The one Diane convinced you to buy? The one we were supposed to use as a warehouse, and the top office for our communications center?”
That was the one good thing Diane did for me,
“I am listening, I know the building.” I assured her.
