Ch 25 - A Bittersweet Goodbye

Rintarou and Alicia could be seen once more cuddling with each other in peace on the couch watching some anime.

But their peace was interupted with Alicia's phone that was on her pocket suddenly vibrated as she hurriedly took it out and saw a message.

"What is it?" ask by Rintarou as he took a peek but it was too small for him to properly see what it was.

"Sigh, it seems that dad is arriving and is going to take me home" said by Alicia with sadness coating her voice as she turned around and hug him tightly.

"Aww, don't be sad. It's not like we won't meet again later, besides, we can talk with each other through the interent" said by Rintarou as he comforted her.

"Yeah, its not like we won't meet again later" said by Alicia in a peculiar tone.

They continued to just hug each other in silence until Alicia ask something confusing.

"Hey Rintarou, when will your class start again?" ask by Alicia.

"Oh, I don't actually know, just wait a sec" said by Rintarou as he took out his phone and look at his class's GC to see hundreds of notifications that he didn't receive.

"Oh, so somehow all of my classmates got quirks with only a few still being unknown in their status including me, the teacher is asking if everyone is safe, and... Gasspppp! Classes are suspended for a week because the government is making new guidlines!" said by Rintarou with joy clearly being present in his voice.

"Oh wow! Tsk, so its still another week..." muttered by Alicia in a soft voice that Rintarou didn't here as he scrolled through the messages he didn't see.

'Oh god, my classmates are so fucking cringe! Gag' thought by Rintarou as he scrolled through the cringy stuff that he saw and finally finish all of the stuff.

"Hey Rintarou, c- can you kiss me in the cheek and s- and say I love you?" ask by Alicia suddenly as Rintarou saw Alicia heavily blushing and averting her gaze from his as Rintarou became confuse.

"Of course! I actually haven't given you a Christmas present even though we met at New Year, so I guess this will be my gift hehe" said by Rintarou with a smile.

"So do you want to video it? Do you want us lying down or sitting down?" Rintarou continued asking questions as Alicia became more flustered but steeled her heart.

"S- standing up, and I- and I also want it ... recorded!" said by Alicia in embarrassment.

"What camera do you want to use, your phone?" ask by Alicia.

"Y- yeah" said by Alicia as she started to get dizzy but push through.

"Okay then, just wait a minute as I go get Ren" said by Rintarou.

"W- wait!" said by Alicia as she tried to stop Rintarou but it was too late as Ren appeared besides them holding her phone in confusion.

"Hey Ren, would you mind taking a video here for Alicia here, its for my gift to her" said by Rintarou as Ren became befuddled in confusion with Alicia's face becoming redder.

"What?" ask by Ren.

"Just record us, and don't ask questions and keep quiet" said by Rintarou as he wave his hands with Ren sighing and prep the phone to them.

"3, 2, 1" said by Ren as he press start and Rintarou immediately started with the still blushing Alicia.

"Hey Alicia, happy new year! I love you~ Mwah!" said by Rintarou close to Alicia's ear as he went for the kiss leaving Alicia embarrassed and Ren shock.

'W- what did I see!? And you're telling me they're still fucking friends!?' thought by Ren as he stood there like stone.

'Oh my god! He said I love you to me! And its all recorded!' thought by Alicia in joy as she hurriedly grab her phone from Ren and made the recording stop.

"T- thanks Rintarou, I- I love you too" said by Alicia in a low voice as Rintarou didn't hear it but Ren did.

'Holy fuck! This is a fucking rom com anime isn't it!? Did he lie about his quirk or what!? Its clear that his quirk allows him to be a dense anime protagonist because this would just be truly cruel' thought by Ren as he then appeared back in his room and sighed in defeat.

'And I thought I was the protagonist when I receive a system' thought by Ren in sadness as Rintarou and Alicia could be seen once again cuddling while watching some anime with Alicia still blushing.

After a while, they then saw Rintarou's uncle appearing in the living room and saw them.

"... Oh" said by his uncle as he continued to walk out of the room to where the entrance was at as they both knew that Alicia's father Akira Fujiwara has appeared.

"Wanna go there?" ask by Rintarou.

"... Sigh, I guess this will be goodbye then" said by Alicia as she stood up along with Rintarou as they started to walk while doing some indecent and lewd handholding as they look over the window to see a long black car nearing the mansion as Alicia's grip tightened around his hand.

The door of the car opened as a man emanating a authoritative aura appeared, wearing a black suit as his uncle opened the door with a smile.

"Akira! Long time no see!" said by his uncle as they heard an imposing voice.

"Oi, Hazuki! I'm sorry that I was not here for Christmas and New Year" said by Akira as he started to float up the flight of stairs and appeared besides Hazuki his uncle.

"Oh Alicia! I'm sorry that you were left here alone" said by Akira as he hurriedly run towards Alicia and took her into a tight hug as Alicia chuckled.

"Its fine dad, besides... I was able to meet Rintarou here" said by Alicia as she look at Rintarou.

"Oh, Rintarou!... wait a sec... gasp" said by Hazuki as he gasped in shock but felt Alicia's knees nudging him and somewhat knew the situation.

'Wait!? Why are they hand holding!? Did! Did Rintarou sway my daughter that much!?' thought by Akira as he glared at the connected hands of both Rintarou and Alicia.

"Eh herm, so Rintarou, I thank you for taking care of my daughter from the messages that I receive from her, and many of them are praises mind you hehe" said by Hazuki with a sly smile as Alicia blush in embarrassment.

"No problems sir Akira! Oh, I have always been a big fan of metube so could you please take a picture with me! And also with my brother over here" said by Rintarou as Ren once again reappeared besides them who look around confuse until he saw Akira's huge and imposing figure.

"Of course! Hazuki! Why don't you take a picture of me with your nephews, and why not add Jihoon over here" ask by Akira to Rintarou.

Then he reappeared back again with Jihoon startled and saw Akira and almost choke in shock.

"I- is that Akira Fujiwara!" said by Jihoon in a hush voice to Ren as he nodded.

"Haha, well then huddle around" said by Akira as they gathered around along with Alicia as they smiled.

"Say cheese! *click* There we go" said by Hazuki while showing them their picture as Ren and Jihoon gasp in awe.

"Haha! It was nice seeing you again Hazuki, but sadly Metube is currently going into a aneurism right now as the logistics and all that stuff needs my attention. But don't worry, we will come again really soon" said by Akira with a wink while discreetly pointing at Alicia and Rintarou who was on the side hugging each other while saying goodbye as Hazuki wryly smiled.

"You can't even stay for dinner?" ask by Hazuki.

"Sorry, but don't worry, once I finish my problems I would have plenty of rest time on my hands if our predictions were correct regarding how useful the quirks would be for our logistics and all other departments" said by Akira with a sorry smile.

"Haha, then why I guess I will see you?" ask by Hazuki.

"Probably next month" said by Akira as he glance at his daughter as he thought.

'Damn, is she a master of psychology or is Rintarou just too dense to not understand the clues?' thought by Akira as he remembered the messages he receive from Alicia and decided that he will help her along with her path in love.

"Goodbye then guys, and don't worry Rintarou, you will meet Alicia again... soon" said by Akira with a smirk as Alicia kiss Rintarou on the cheek and said goodbye while going near him.

'She kiss him!? How far has their relationship gotten!? I thought they are still friends from the messages I receive a hour ago!?' thought by Akira in shock as they slowly walk down the stairs and entered his car as he look at his daughter suspiciously who only smiled at him.

"Goodbye Akira!" said by Hazuki as they said goodbye to them outside the gates.

"Goodbye Alicia!" said by Rintarou as he saw the window open with Alicia's head sticking out.

"Goodbye Rintarou!" said by Alicia as she wave goodbye with tears in her eyes.

"Goodbye everyone!" said by Akira as his voice was heard inside as the car slowly started to drive away into the distance with sad anime music (Ayasa - The Reason Why, 1:38) appearing in the background as a chapter in Rintarou's life closed as a new one will now open.

AN: What a great way to end the Mansion Arc, its like a great anime ending to a one shot as the male and female lead part ways with each other in a teary goodbye as a new chapter in their life starts.

This was 1612 words long by the way without the AN so I really went PLUS ULTRA!!! On this chapter because its the end of an arc.

This was also made in the same day as Chapter 24 by the way, so that's 3 chapters written in one day, and if you were curious the other chapter I wrote was for MHA: Telekinesis and the chapter was Chapter 51.

But besides the sad end, I fucking mastered romance baby, it was cringe, it was feel good, it was sad, nearly all departments was covered as I unlock another part of writing human emotions, love.
