The cheers from the people were promptly quelled once the emperor made an appearance in his booth. With a single wave of his hand, he tamed the entire crowd. Even I felt that was a truly masterful feat.

It’d require me sending a psychic message to the entire crowd for them to even understand what I wanted them to do, but this man already had a lock on them with mere gestures.
