Intimidation

Some of the pirates would split up after the battle and would go their own way but there would be others that had decided to retire for good.

There was still a high bounty on their heads that would remain for the remainder of their lives so they could choose to settle down in a secluded place or could seek shelter under another group.

Seeking a form of protection under another Emperor was one option that was tempting for those that could not give up their life as a pirate but Alyssia had extended an offer of her own.

Alyssia did not really wish to get too involved with the war but once she had seen that there were some changes to the battle that were outside of her predictions, she changed her mind.

Blackbeard had gained the Quake Devil Fruit powers along with the Darkness Devil Fruit powers which lead to him becoming an Emperor and completely forcing Marco and his crew to be defeated.

Without the Quake Devil Fruit he was just like any other Devil Fruit used that possessed a strong body, experience in combat and a higher mastery over two types of Haki.

He did not show that he possessed Conquerors Haki so he had to rely on what he had and was making every effort to find a replacement for the Quake Devil Fruit.

Jozu had became his target due to him possessing the Diamond Devil Fruit that would provide Blackbeard with a way to negate a lot of harm that could be done to his body while improving the overall hardness of his body.

The weakness of the Darkness Devil Fruit would be lessened and he would suffer far less pain.

It became clear that the present outcome had in fact been the fault of Alyssia who stole the Quake Devil Fruit and gave it to Archie.

When it became clear to her that it was her fault that things turned out as they were, Alyssia intervened and decided to offer them some form of a relationship.

She removed an Eternal Pose that had been made specifically for one of the islands she had saved then left behind.

It was resting in her palm then was passed over to Jozu. "If you need a place to hide out then try this place out. It is a little uninhabitable but with a little effort, it can be restored."

There were some of her crew that were already there and were working to make it a place they could live on.

There would be some areas on the island that could be used for the remnants of the Whitebeard pirates to hide out or retire.

It provided some additional protection for the island and her people when they could be called upon as a last resort.

It would not be a major issue for them to hide away and live on the island so long as they did not cause any problems or act in a way that let their presence be spread out to those on the island or outside of it.

Having the reputation of harbouring pirates was not something Alyssia wanted to affect her future plans or the White Storm that she had built.

It was kind of a rash move that she made and had not spoken to others about it was uncertain if they would have agreed with her actions completely.

It was a critical moment where it could be a big mistake that could make her lose everyone's trust or it could be a moment to test how loyal they were to her and how much they were willing to accept.

Alyssia left one final message. "Only inform your captain about this meeting for now until he and others can come to a decision about your future. Be careful on your way back there and tell everyone to retreat when an opportunity presents itself."

Jozu made his way back towards the battlefield under the protection of Alyssia who was watching from close by then a terribly powerful wave of intimidating pressure enveloped the island.

Alyssia stood on the top of a tall building and shouted as she put on a performance in front of everyone. "Begone evil pirates! Your violence must stop or I will put you down myself! You have harmed this land and its people for long enough! Anyone that wishes to continue this will have to get through me!"

She put on a righteous act of the saviour appearing to save the people of the island and to put a stop to the violence.

Once Marco understood everything after he had been told everything that happened by Jozu, he ordered everyone. "Retreat!"

"Captain?"

"Why stop now?"

"We can still fight!"

Marco shook his head. "We have lost.. I am getting too old for this and we have suffered enough. We tried our best and should be proud of that fact. Retreat!"

Blackbeard held his bloodstained shoulder and laughed towards the distant figure. "I know of you. Zehahaha! You are Alyssia Lucine of the White Storm! You are brave to make an enemy of me and to interfere here. Are you sure that you want to continue getting in my way? It will not be so easy to handle all of us even if you possess Conqurors Haki. You are just a child interfering in things beyond your power so get lost before you get yourself hurt."

He spoke arrogantly and there was a hint of anger in his voice as he threatened Alyssia and tried to intimidate her to get her to back down.

That was until a stronger and more crushing pressure forced down upon everyone around him and a cold voice spoke again as white Electro danced around her body. "Do you want to test those claims of yours or do you want to back down. It is your choice. Go ahead.

You have been fighting a prolonged battle and I am young while being so full of energy. If I intervene here and take the side of Marco then you and your people will have that great of a chance of leaving here today. Do you really wish to test out if that last attack was a lucky shot or not?"

Blackbeard thought to himself. 'This… she possesses Electro and seems like a variant of the Mink tribe but that is not all. This kind of pressure is even worse than Shanks but her use of it is far less skilful than him.

It is enough to intimidate Vice Admirals and even some Admirals.. if she gains a further mastery over it then she will become a much bigger threat who can make the likes of Akainu become intimidated. I should kill her now but the odds are not in my favour.'

He grit his teeth then spoke. "I do not want to leave since I have clearly won this battle so I think that everyone else should leave now yes?"

Alyssia nodded calmly. "That is fair but if you try anything funny or if any of your crew attempts to use their powers to cause trouble then I will not hesitate to kill them. Van Augur got lucky that I was not in the mood to kill him."

She turned to Marco and said. "You can retreat. I will follow near you until you are out of their range just in case they try anything."

They were brought away under the glaring eyes of the Blackbeard pirates.

Each of them suffered a lot from the intimidation that Alyssia applied to them and some of the weaker ones among them barely managed to hold on and keep themselves awake.

Once she reached her ship, Alyssia was greeted by Archie who had been hiding out within the ship, Val, Li, Ghost, the Devil Ape and Grem who watched over and protected the ship and over Archie while she was away spectating the war.
