That cold look

Soon the door busted open and Tang ye walked in looking so annoyed.

"Ning Quio!", A worried Tang Ye rushed to Ning Quio and started crying.

"Tang ye I'm sorry, my phone got missing after the accident and I couldn't find one, come here don't cry anymore", Ning Quio patted Tang Ye's back trying to calm her down.

"I'm sorry for crying so badly now I was so worried something really bad had happened to you", Tang Ye cleaned her tears.

"Did you eat before rushing here?", Ning Quio asked since it was still morning.

"Yes I did,when did the doctor say you would be released?"

"Two weeks later "

"That's way too long ,I have some bad news, Jun Li got the second female lead in Wildflower "

"It's nothing, I'll get another movie another time"Ning Quio forced on a smile but deep down she was hurt.

They chatted for some time before Tang Ye left her.

Ning Quio turned to Lu Laotang and asked "I can see you're really friendly than your brother "

"Yes,sometimes I guess why my brother is too cold and distant from others"

"Is that so?" A cold voice spoke from opposite them.

Ning Quio and Lu Laotang both turned to see Lu Laoyang looking at them with red cold eyes. Ning Quio immediately turned her face away. His eyes were too scary for her.

"Bro don't take it to heart,we were just joking "

"Joking I see"

"CEO I'm sorry, I promise not to say anything behind your back anymore "

"You better keep that promise, or next time there will be no chance of forgiveness "

Two weeks later...

When Ning Quio woke up,she could see him sitting by the window. His long legs were crossed as usual, He wore a slim fitting suit that emphasized his masculine body showing his broad shoulders and slender waist. His inner white shirt was buttoned up to the collar. His cold demeanour was like that of a powerful ancient king.

This was the first time Ning Quio had actually taken time to observe his body. He felt her look and also stared back at her coldly, it made her shudder.

"Good morning CEO " Ning Quio greeted but he didn't respond as usual.

"CEO I think I would be discharged today"

"So?"

"I...I wanted to thank you for helping me"

"No need"

"But....."

"I'm leaving " Before Ning Quio could respond the man had already taken large strides and left.

Ning Quio was better now so the doctor told her she could leave today. She packed up everything though they were just a few and left to the roadside to pick a taxi.
