Ch 91 – THE END OF AN ARC

Inside a room that appears to be of a hospital, there lay both Jinah and Dahsoo in different beds with their bruises and wounds now healed, looking at each other with determined eyes.

"You ready for the final fight?" asked Dahsoo to Jinah.

"… Yeah," said Jinah with a nod.

"Well… let's do this I guess," said Dahsoo who stood up from his bed along with Jinah, then they both went out of the room and started to walk out of the room they were in and towards the stadium where the final fight of the event was going to occur.

"Oh! It seems like both student Kang Dahsoo and Sung Jinah are ready!" shouted Empress of Light while the giant screen showed the both of them walking towards the stage.

"May both students get on stage!" said Empress of Light while the crowd cheered for the both of them who went on top of the stage which would definitely be broken in the next few seconds.

"ARE BOTH STUDENTS READY!" shouted Empress of Light with an exhilarating voice that riles up the crowd.

"YES!" shouted both Dahsoo and Jinah who started to take on their stance.

"START!" shouted Empress of Light and before the start was even heard, both Dahsoo and Jinah disappeared with a sonic boom with constant booms appearing all over the small arena that produced cracks on the tiled ground of cement.

And with each boom, the clashes became faster and faster as time passes on with a shadowy and yellow blur moving around the arena at a rapid pace, and in just a few seconds, they managed to destroy the whole arena without fail.

*bang bang bang bang bang bangbangbangbangbangbang banbanbanbanbanbaba bababbbbbbbbbbbbbb!*

The resounding clashes reverberated around the arena as the winds howled, the grass waved, and the arena cracked and soon, the arena made out of cement was fully destroyed with both of the rapidly moving figures got out of the arena with their speed rapidly increasing with the increased space to move around.

"Ha!" shouted Dahsoo who threw a fist towards Jinah who responded the same with each second producing thousands of clashes that the viewers only view as one blow at the speed they are going at, just like when Star Platinum does its ora ora but a hundred times faster and far more destructive.

Both figures move around the arena razing the grassy floor with each of their moves, with each of their steps creating dents on the ground at how much force they were producing.

"Ha!" shouted Jinah who punched forwards a cylindrical beam of air but they were already moving too fast for those beams to keep up, but she used that beam to distract Dahsoo for a split second and tense up her legs that showed her defined legs and stick one leg to the ground.

And as her left foot was stuck to the ground, she felt her muscles becoming optimized and with veins popping on her legs, she lifted her right leg and did a 360-spin kick, and created a sharp wind pressure that goes all directions on the wide-open field.

And because the cylindrical beam of air distracted Dahsoo for a split second, it made Jinah gain enough time to take Dahsoo by surprise as he made an electrical shield in the nick of time and was flung far away.

And with the loss of that speed, Jinah rushed forwards with a boom and punch Dahsoo in the gut but he managed to form another armor again and was flung farther away but she didn't stop her barrage.

'Wind Pressure Barrage' thought Jinah as Jinah rapidly punched the air to stack the wind pressure and make those cylindrical beams of air that takes a certain amount of skill to focus the wind pressure into a beam that could pierce through metal with ease.

And as those beams constantly hit Dahsoo's body, he was struck towards the wall and was constantly damaged so that he can't defend himself anymore, but Jinah knows that Dahsoo is more resilient than that and prepared for what is about to come.

"Raiden!" shouted Dahsoo who was struck with purple lightning from the sky as she stopped her barrage and prepared for what is about to come.

"You ready?" said Dahsoo with a smile while wiping away the dripping blood from his mouth just like an anime character and Jinah knew that Dahsoo did that intentionally.

"*Deep breath*, yeah," said Jinah who tensed her muscles up.

"HA!" shouted Dahsoo who rushed towards her at speeds that were drastically faster than before but she responded back by going at a speed far faster than before which rivals Dahsoo's speed that destroys the whole arena at the speed they were going at, a speed that they never went to before at any previous fights, because this time if they don't use their speed, one could just become too fast and destroy the other in less than a second.

So with all of their focus set on their speed, they went into a barrage of strikes that produced no audible sound at the speed they were going at.

And as both looked at each other with focused eyes, they smirked at each other and slowly increased their speed and produced a greater force per millisecond and it shows how powerful their control over their quirk has become because, if their naked bodies were to make contact with each other, it would have destroyed their arms in a split second.

And before even a full second has passed, both of them became exhausted and created some distance between the two and looked at each other with ragged breaths.

"Huff, puff, I can't believe you could already keep up with my max speed in just a month," said Jinah in disbelief.

"Come on, you're still not using your Vector Control," said Dahsoo who was heaving on his knees.

"Gah, do you wanna go "final form"?" said Jinah who wiped off her sweat from her forehead.

"Wooh, let's end this!" said Dahsoo as both of them started to go into their final forms where they will use their all and end the fight in less than a minute.

"God of Lightning!" shouted Dahsoo who soon started to get enveloped by purple electricity that went on to become a Titan of purple lightning.

"Vector Control" muttered Jinah as the air around her exploded out of nowhere and slowly floated upwards into the air.

"Come out, Sword of Lightning," said the God of Lightning in a rumbling voice while a bolt of purple lightning struck from the air that slowly formed a sword on the Titan's hand.

"HA!" shouted the giant and swung its sword in the air which made a giant pressure of wind that envelop the whole arena as electricity coursed through the air towards Jinah.

Then as the tsunami of electricity and wind went towards Jinah, as if the guy who parted the seas in a certain religious book and controlled the wave to instead go towards Dahsoo who just stood in the air floating.

Soon, the rebounded wave hit the Titan who just brunt through the wave and looked at Jinah with a smile.

"Fufu, ha!" shouted the Titan who swung another hit with its sword, and instead of any wind, it was a crescent wave of purple electricity that shot towards Jinah who controlled it to go back towards Dahsoo with difficulty.

But as the crescent wave was going back towards him, he chuckled as the wave converge into a point and entered the Titan whose eyes glowed purple.

"Railgun Barrage," said the Titan with a wide grin, and soon, hundreds of small little dots of purple electricity filled the air that was pointed at Jinah.

"Oh fuck" muttered Jinah who hurriedly gathered a shield of wind around her floating body as she won't be able to reach the ground fast enough.

*KAKAKAKAKAKAKBOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!*

Soon, thousands of rapid explosions appeared as the small little spheres of electricity shot their little railguns with destructive power and rapidly hit the wind barrier, in less than 3 seconds, the barrier was broken but surprisingly enough, Jinah's figure wasn't inside the barrier of wind.

"HA!" shouted Jinah high above the air as she swung her fist downwards and just like last time, a large pillar of air that envelop the whole stadium where they were fighting in with the Titan of electricity instantly dispersed into sparks of lightning but surprisingly, Dahsoo also wasn't inside the Titan and before Jinah could process what was happening, she felt a kick hitting her back and almost hit the ground but she managed to stop herself from hitting the ground and looked up to see Dahsoo's bruised figure high above the air.

"Ha, ha, let's end this!" shouted Dahsoo with a roar as they used the last bits of their energy and flew towards each other for one final clash.

*PAK!*

A loud sound of flesh hitting flesh was heard as their fist hit each other but Dahsoo didn't stop there and discharged his electricity inside Jinah's body while her shield that protects her body was gone and managed to finally take her down and in the end, Dahsoo won with a resounding victory.

"WINER! KANG DAHSOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" shouted Empress of Light with a loud cheer as finally, the Sport's Festival ended with an epic fight between two borderline divine beings that have developed their quirks to levels imaginable to the populace and would surely rock the world in the future once the quartet becomes Heroes in the future.

(A Few Hours Later)

In the middle of the large stage, there stood 4 people surprisingly instead of the normal three as Dahsoo was standing in the middle at the highest place, Jinah to the left at the second-highest place while both Haerin and Jinho stood at the third-highest place.

"May we congratulate our first ever quartet to win in the entire history of Seoul High!" shouted Empress of Light to the mic with the crowd cheering along to the explosions of light she shot out towards the air with flakes of light somehow falling towards the ground that defies the laws of physics itself.

Soon, a figure coated in a golden yellow glow was seen floating towards the podium with the crowd being riled up from the appearance of the figure alone as Korea's number one hero, Aegis, has appeared!

"*Cheering sounds*!" cheered the crowd that resounded throughout the area as the quartet heard Aegis chuckling behind his mask.

"Eh herm," said Aegis as a mic was thrown towards him from where Empress of Light was commentating and catch it without a hitch.

"Hello everybody!" said Aegis with a charismatic and confident voice that riled up the crowd more.

"That was the fun sports festival wasn't it!" said Aegis as a large projection appeared on top of them that everyone from the crowd could see.

"We got to experience many exciting moments throughout the day, from fighting to riding a car! We saw it all, but from those exhilarating moments, one reoccurring thing was there! And it is this 4 right here! These 4 have continuously gone on to defy the expectations of what Seoul High students, no! What we can achieve, they have all surpassed the boundaries of their quirks and made it into something much more!" said Aegis as a video was soon played on the large screen in the middle of the stadium.

"And now, our 4, yes 4! Students have gone on to become the winners of our sports festival and have made history, perhaps not only to this country but the whole world! Now, may our number 1 student Kang Dahsoo give a speech!" said Aegis as the crowd cheered and gave the mic to Dahsoo wearing a gold medal.

"Hello, there everyone! It has really been an exhilarating day for all of us right here, we all got to see the annual sports festival of Seoul High and we students showed our capabilities to the whole world and what we managed to achieve. Me and my friends here have basically done what only a few have ever achieved in this new century of quirks and have achieved divine-like power!" said Dahsoo to the mic as the screen showed the moments from the fight.

"And with our final clash, the sports festival has officially come to a close and we students could finally rest because the principal promised that we would get a free 1-month break to recuperate from the sports festival!" said Dahsoo with a wide smile while the teachers wore shock eyes.

"Oi oi oi!" shouted a voice from the mic.

"But principal, you promise to give us a break, didn't you? Didn't we shock the whole world with our performance? Couldn't you give us a little reward?" said Dahsoo.

"… Two weeks, that's all I could give you guys," said the principal as all students cheered from Seoul High and praised Dahsoo as the selfless hero of Seoul High.

AN: This is fucking 2183 words, so go send me some power stones because I didn't end this arc in a cliffhanger and decided to go above and beyond with this chapter, which is now officially the longest chapter in my whole writing career.

You don't realize how much of my milking abilities is, I could have extended this tournament arc for like 5 chapters and that is if I wanna do it at a medium pace, if I made it descriptive enough I could make 10 chapters from the 3 fights alone.
