Season Two: Chapter Forty

Chase got out of the bathroom, drying his hair, when he saw Lia was already asleep on the bed. She slept on just one side, leaving the other side of the bed empty. He smiled to himself, knowing that the woman meant for him to be on the same bed with him. But after having his hair dried, instead of slipping under the blanket next to Lia, he walked to the side where the woman was sleeping, and kneeled down on the floor with his eyes level with her angelic sleeping face. He brushed the soft curls to the side as he admired the love of his life, taking his time to stare lovingly at Lia.
