It was the start of the new month for Seiya. It might be just the average day of an average teenager but this month might be proved to be different for our protagonist Seiya Kanie.

At 4:00 AM, Seiya's day started with an intense workout that includes everything from his normal exercise to his martial arts practice. Of course, his friend Shiro also joined the workout, or rather… Seiya dragged him.

What a great day!

However, there was just one person who can still challenge Seiya's stamina and it was Mafuyu Kirisu. Her lectures are like a lullaby for Seiya where always fell asleep even if didn't want to.

But thank goodness, she just took a surprise test that Seiya easily passed but was not able to score full marks, unlike other subjects that upset the poor sensei.

It was then that lunchtime began. As usual, the trio of the class decided to eat at class. Seiya prepared bento for both Shiro and Utaha while he took Shiro's bento.

There is nothing better than food prepared by the best mommy.

"Seriously though Shiro, your culinary skills have improved again. I am impressed." Seiya praised his red-haired friend while chomping the food, "Still, my skills are still best."

Shiro scratched his cheek and smiled, "Is that so…? Well, you did guide me during my part-time in the park."

Shiro was genuinely thankful for Seiya this time. He learned a lot during those weeks in Amagi Brilliant Park. Seiya had already prepared a proper guide on how to prepare meals for the cafeteria staff. And one shouldn't even question the taste of food. It was simply the greatest meal any chef of the Amaburi has prepared.

It was all due to Seiya's top-notch culinary skills as well as management skills.

That two-week time not only helped Shiro improve his cooking skills but also his time management ability. At first, he used to struggle for keeping his schedule from training with Seiya to preparing breakfast and lunch boxes for his sister and him, which Seiya usually confiscates.

Then club activities and picking his sister from school also takes a stroll on him. His parents often had to go on business trips so he has to take care of the house as well.

But now, his body doesn't get tired at all. It was all due to time management skills that he improved and increased stamina from the training.

"Well, what can I say, I am just good at everything~." Seiya paused eating and flipped his hair then resumed eating normally.

Shiro and Utaha blankly stared at him. They usually think that Seiya shows his narcissist traits to earn some points for his skills.

"Yes, Seiya-kun is indeed good at everything. For example, at night, he- Huff!" Utaha was about to shed her perverted thoughts when Seiya stuffed her mouth with a food bite.

Seiya then remembered he is also good at telling stories that he usually tells at night. It was usually Utaha but he also narrates stories to both Eriri and Utaha on phone. Since they are both creators, it helps them improve their skills.

Seiya raised his eyebrow and pinched her nose with a smile, "You cunning fox~!"

"Hehe," Utaha chuckled.

And Shiro wanted to die.

Although both, Utaha and Seiya, are his friend, he couldn't stand it when they started flirting like that.

He also wanted to eat his lunch with Sakura but Seiya didn't allow it especially on Mondays.

Not that he doesn't dislike eating with them but at least refrain from flirting so openly and internally torturing him.

"What's up, Shiro? You are looking upset." It was then Seiya noticed Shiro's uneasiness.

"Well, if you got time then mind stopping at my house? Miyu has been asking for you a lot."

Seiya then felt sad for the poor child. Seiya was greatly attached to Miyu and considered her his sister. He hardly ever met with the girl over the past two weeks.

"Okay, I will stop by soon. You can also visit my home too."

Now that Seiya was free, he didn't mind spending some time with his friends.

"That's great." Shiro smiled and nodded. He then noticed Utaha's deathly gazes.

Seriously though stop looking at him like that! Just like Seiya, Shiro is straight but he didn't know why Utaha and other girls are interested in Seiya's gaze Shiro is like he is one of their rivals.

If he fears anything then it's these girls.

"Hmm, what are you reading?" Seiya then noticed that Utaha has been busy reading something on her mobile. He doesn't usually meddle but he thought it could be an interesting novel.

"An ero isekai novel."

"Really? What's its name?" Shiro asked without thinking as he wanted to divert the topic but he then noticed Seiya's wide eyes and realized his mistake.

"..." Both Seiya and Shiro were stunned when Shiro choked and coughed on Seiya's face.

Seiya stood up and walked out while warning Utaha with his gaze to not tease his friend in his absence.

Utaha rolled her eyes, looked at troubled Shiro, and smirked.

"So… how old is your sister?"

Arg, don't tell me! Shiro immediately felt a sense of dread.

"…10." Shiro answered then added, "Please don't…"

"Gasp* Oh my god~, Sakatsuki-san, please wait till she gets at the age before making Seiya your brother-in-law!" Utaha gasped comically.

"Arg, I knew it!"

On other hand, Seiya was coming back from the toilet when he collapsed with someone as he was about to turn.

Both individuals seemed to be waking a little fast so the collision was big. However, Seiya immediately composed himself as he hardly felt anything but the girl didn't.

However, as the girl fell, Seiya immediately caught her with one arm.

Seiya soon saw her face with his eyes wide open as her dark hair cleared the view.

"Moth…er…?"

Mother? Mother?! Seiya was immediately stuck with the image of her late mother for some reason.

But it was not his mother.

Rather she was just a schoolgirl.

She had beautiful, fair skin with long black mid-length hair and beautiful yet gloomy and cold red eyes, that were giving off and unapproachable, and unattainable girl befitting to be called 'The Ice Princess'.

"' Mother'? Who are you?"

Seiya then snapped out when the girl in his arms asked him.

"M-mother? Who?!" Seiya questioned.

"…You. And can you let me go?" The girl narrowed her eyes and asked.

"Oh." Seiya then realized he was holding the girl for quite some time. He immediately released her and turned around forgetting to give the girl a hand as the girl fell on the ground.

"I didn't say such a thing. It must be your imagination." Seiya coughed as his eyes were scanning the surroundings if someone was watching them.

He then widened his eyes and turned around again to see the girl, who stood up and rubbed her uniform, if he was imagining things. There is no way she could exist in this school…

But just for confirmation.

"Might I ask this lady's name~?" Seiya smiled as he tried his best to remain in his character.

"…I apologize for bumping into you but I don't see the reason for telling my name." The girl spoke and was about to leave when Seiya spoke.

"Oh please, as you can see, I am a super talented and most handsome boy of this school and probably in whole Japan and this world, Seiya Kanie. So it is natural for this natural prince to know this beauty's name who bumped into him. It must be fate!"

"…"

Not only the girl but even Seiya was speechless at his own speech.

He just sounded to cringe!!! If Utaha or another heard him then he would probably die with embarrassment. Not that they are unaware of these kinds of tendencies.

"…Sigh. I am Kaguya Shinomiya from Class 2-B." The girl sighed and revealed her name.

"…Ah, I am Seiya Kanie from Class 2-A." Seiya also revealed his name. His jaws would have dropped if not for his mental resistance.

Seriously though what the hell is she doing in this academy?! This is not Shuchiin Academy. He did head Shinomiya's name but he didn't expect to counter the main heroine of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War here.

And what's with her gloomy appearance? She should be the love interest of certain blond-haired Student Council President.

There were so many questions roaming in his mind but he didn't have any way to get the answer for now. Maybe she was just another main character that appeared as a side character like Shiro, who knows. Not that he could stop and ask her anything.

"I see. Can I leave?" Kaguya asked with her monologue cold tone.

"Yes." Seiya smiled lightly.

The girl nodded and left like nothing special happened.

'Well, I don't have any reason to interact with her as well.' Seiya shrugged his shoulders and walked away.

On other hand, Kaguya stopped mid-way and turned around to look at the leaving figure of Seiya Kanie, the star of Kaijō Academy.

"Kaguya-sama, shall I investigate his background or do you want me to confront him?" A girl asked right behind her shadow.

"I also noticed his curiosity as if he somehow knows me personally… but for now ignore him," Kaguya replied and resumed her walk ignoring the person who probably won't be matter.

Unbeknown to both of them, their relationship was deeper than they could imagine.
