Chapter 4: College

Ardyn was currently driving himself and Talia over to their new home by Empire State university. Ardyn was driving and smiled.

Talia looked over frowning "What are you smiling for?"

Ardyn widened his smile "What you can not tell me you are not excited to be away from Dad. Also stop frowning you will start looking older faster."

Talias frown deepened "I still can't believe you call that old decrepit bastard Dad still. He killed mom."

Ardyn got serious completely getting rid of the energy he had before "I guess I can tell you. You are my sister and I can tell your really hate him. I have been faking this whole time. I plan on killing the old prick later. But I want to make sure I'm strong enough to take on the whole league by then and have my own group."

Talia smirked "Good. But also don't read me like you do everyone else. So why did you want to go to college?"

Ardyn shrugged "Seemed like a fun way to get out of there an actually see the world. You?"

Talia tilted her head "Obviously to keep you out of trouble and to make sure you don't just have sex with any girl who just opens her legs."

Ardyn feigned ignorance "What are you talking about."

Talia shook her head "Your a man whore Ardyn. Who knows what kind of trouble you would get in unsupervised."

Ardyn sighed "I'm sorry I'm a regular human who likes to have human interactions and sex with the opposite gender."

Talia hit Ardyn shoulder "It was a one time thing with that girl."

Ardyn smirked "Sure. Don't worry I get it. You were still trying to get over Bruce."

Talias cheeks reddened and she started to wail on Ardyn "Shut up man whore."

Ardyn just rolled his eyes "Whatever we made it to are new place anyways."

Talia looked outside the car window "You didn't tell me you got a mansion. How much was it."

Ardyn shrugged "Does it really matter it was an easy payment when you are on an assassins pay check. Now let's go move in we got school tomorrow and I need my beauty rest. After all I'm a man whore right."

Talia rolled her eyes "Right. I don't know how women fall for you. They must not have brains."

Ardyn opened the door "Whatever."

Ardyn and Talia then proceeded to grab all their things and move into the new house they have. It was actually close to the campus and if you were to leave the opposite direction of the campus you would head towards Gotham. A thriving city of criminals.

The Next Day

Ardyn and Talia had finally made their way to college. They had just parked and had similar schedules because they both ended up taking classes on the human body and sciences. Mainly classes to help prepare them to be doctors.

Ardyn looked around and was happy to finally start his adventure in this weird world. While entering the grounds he thought 'Okay well I can safely assume this is the start of my mission. But the big problem is how to avoid the attention of all these groups. I will have to try and make sure there is no spies or mutants who can read thoughts on Talia. I'm safe but I can still feel when someone tries to enter my mind. So that might set off some red flags for the mental users out there.'

Ardyn then continued his thought 'Well right now Tony Stark is captured and the world seems to be in chaos already. So I need to make some fast moves and some risks most likely sooner then later. Maybe I should head to Gotham. One thing is for sure though I need to get stronger. My blood powers are definitely vast but limited. That is my fault as I mainly focused on my powers from Sephiroth as those are extremely powerful. I can't even do the cool blood bending yet from avatar. I can constrict them for a couple seconds but I cannot control a body and make them do my bidding. I....'

Ardyn was about to continue his thought but both him and Talia got tense. Ardyn said in a low voice "Do you sense that?"

Talia nodded keeping a calm face "There is no blood lust or killing intent but there are a lot of strong people up ahead. They are also separated in large groups however though."

Ardyn nodded "Yeah one group far left and one group far right. Then I can feel a group in front to the right as well as in front to the left. Once we enter the courtyard we should be able to see them. Let's just observe and hide our presence. A total of four groups. But all separate it's possible they are all against each other.

Talia nodded "Right or they could all be one. They just want the facade of being separate."

When Ardyn and Talia came to the courtyard. They both immediately scanned their surroundings. It was a giant courtyard that was almost like a park with a fountain in the middle and benches and other places to relax throughout. Ardyn and Talia walked towards the fountain where they then turned around and sat down to look at the two groups at the entrance.

They then both looked at the two groups that were far apart but near the entrance. Talia said in a low voice "So what do you see? You can always spot what a person is somehow."

Ardyn thought 'Yeah somehow.'

Ardyn nodded "The group on the right of the entrance appear to be mutants. The group on the left appear to be mutants as well. However it seems by the way they look at each other that they both hate each other."

While Ardyn was saying this however in his mind he thought 'Shit on the right are the X men specifically Night Crawler, Cyclops, Jean, and a couple others. Then on the left they have people from Magnetos group the Blob, Toad, Pyro, and others as well.'

Ardyn smiled 'From what I understand these two groups are always feuding. Even Hydra and Shield have data on them. They both have a lot of spies. However Hydra has way more. Worse is that Shield doesn't even know Hydra exist. Even in Shield Hydra has spies. I might have to start attacking Hydra a bit. They are actually a way bigger threat then I give them credit for.'

Ardyn felt someone try to get into his head and read his thoughts.

Talia then asked "Hey why is that red head from the right group staring at you."

Ardyn thought 'Shit she probably can't get into my head.'

Ardyn shrugged "Who knows maybe I'm just that handsome."

Talia rolled her eyes "Okay let's switch sides of the fountain and look at the other two."

Ardyn and Talia walked over to the other side and then sat down again.

Ardyn sighed "Okay so that group to the right corner. They are a bunch of hero's. It seems. Many are regular humans but they are in peak physical condition. The group to the left however. They are odd a couple hero's a couple regular people as well though. I'm not sure what to make of it."

Ardyn was shocked to say the least. He mumbled what is wrong with this college.

On the right there are both Young Justice and Teen Titans members. Raven, Nightwing and Robin. Star fire, beast boy, aqua lad. On the left he can see Peter Parker, Felicia Hardy, Mary Jane, Gwen Stacey, and Harry Osborn.

Ardyn was thinking about how all three of them were hot between Felicia, MJ and Gwen. But surprisingly he was just staring at MJ who he thought was hotter then the rest. He also could not help but stare at both Raven and Starfire for a bit.

Peter Parker looked a lot like Tom Holland. Then there was Harry Osborn who looked a lot like the actor from the original spider man movies with Toby Maguire.

Talia sighed "Just when I thought we could be regular people for a bit. We are surrounded by superhumans and mutants."

Ardyn smiled "I think this just makes it more interesting. Should we go make some friends."

Talia shook her head "I rather not honestly."

Ardyn sighed "Come on it could be fun. We need to meet new people anyways."

Talia thought for a moment "Maybe later. But now is time for class let's go."
