Chapter 27

“The ending of the dream is horrid,” Milo mumbled against Jensen’s chest when he finally reached its conclusion.

“It is,” Jensen said while running his fingers up and down Milo’s hair.

Milo was about to continue with the conversation when he heard the beeping sound coming from the elevator. Aside from him and Jensen, only Harrison and Kenta had an unrestricted access to the elevator. However, under normal circumstances, Milo knew Harrison would never come up to the fiftieth floor without first calling him or Jensen. Hence, it could only be Kenta. Milo was proven right seconds later when Kenta exited from the elevator once the doors slid open to the sides. He sat up in a hurry.
