Chapter 7

“A man who doesn’t want something doesn’t come this far.”

“Perhaps I just want to beat your ass,” Alex

replied.

“Which is why I left my belt on the bench,”

Roderick said, nodding to the long wooden bench that seemed to

separate them.

“You kidnapped me,” Alex said, crossly

meeting the other man’s eyes.

“I took you for a joy ride,” Roderick said

with a wink.

“I’m not a Corvette,” Alex countered.

“But I would ride you like one if you let

me,” Roderick said, licking his lips as he spoke.

“You kidnapped me,” Alex said, trying not to

allow his eyes to wander over Roderick’s body.

“I let you go,” Roderick replied, flexing

just a little bit.

“Do you do this shit all the time?”

“What? Kidnapping, or trying to seduce

men?”

“Both,” Alex demanded.

“I’ve never done either before in my life,”

Roderick said.

“But you seriously just kidnapped me,” Alex

said sternly. “It’s crazy. And illegal.”

“You’re right. I should be punished,”
