Chapter 218: Heading to City Nan alone

After officially buying the house, Bai Yi Yang head to City Nan the same weekend. She wanted to look around and she already made an appointment with Interior Designer Ru Qing on how they wanted to redecorate the house. Since the house will be totally empty, they will have to start from scratch.

"I know, I will be back tomorrow." Bai Yi Yang said. She is taking a van to the town then ride a bus to City Nan from their town. It will be a bit of a hassle but since she is going alone, it will be fine. If not because there is no one at home taking care of the children, Bai Yi Chen would have come together.

"When you arrived at City Nan, call me." Bai Yi Chen said worriedly as he hold onto the van door.

"I know." Bai Yi Yang smile and close the van's door.

"Don't worry, I will send Yi Yang yatou straight to the bus station." Driver Tang said. Bai Yi Yang called him to help. When they returned from school and she still need to get her stuff at home, it has passed 2.00 pm, so it might be difficult to find a van. Since they know Driver Tang, Bai Yi Yang asked him if he is free and here he is.

"Thank you Uncle Tang." Bai Yi Chen smile. After waving at Bai Yi Chen, Bai Yi Yang told Driver Tang to move, if not they may arrived late and Bai Yi Yang may miss the bus to City Nan.

"He is a good brother." Driver Tang said.

"He is quite protective, it's not like I am a child." Bai Yi Yang laugh.

"Yatou, you are considered a child too." Driver Tang laugh back. Bai Yi Yang didn't say anything, well, her body is indeed underage.

"If you told me earlier, actually I can also drive you to City Nan, but later I need to drive a wedding envoy, so today really can't do." Driver Tang said.

His van is often rented for trips like this, wedding ah, students going to trips and so on. "No problem, small matter." Driver Tang said.

Bai Yi Yang nod. This weekend, Zhou Zhu Yao is not free so nobody can help them to drive to City Nan, so she have to go alone.

"Is there urgent business in City Nan?" Driver Tang ask.

"Not very urgent, but it's better to be done early." Bai Yi Yang smile.

"Sigh. You are still very young but you already have this responsibility. Anyway, when you arrive there, do you know the way around? I have a few trusted friends in City Nan, if you want I can make a few calls, they can pick you up at the bus terminal." Driver Tang said.

"Oh, there is no need Uncle Tang. When I arrive there, there will be people picking me up, I have place to stay too." Bai Yi Yang said.

This is indeed true. When she arrived there, Old man Cui had arranged their driver to pick her up, she will stay at Old Cui house too. Tomorrow morning, she will have meeting with Ru Qing. Finally tomorrow afternoon or evening, she will head back.

Driver Tang also didn't stay after showing Bai Yi Yang around, he seems to know the security watching the bus station so he said a few words to him to look after Bai Yi Yang until she get on the bus.

"Yatou, I think I should go now just in case the group wanted to leave early. Your bus is over there, don't mistake it with other." Driver Tang said.

"I know, I know. Tomorrow, when you got onto the bus home, call me, I will come early." Driver Tang said.

"Alright, thank you uncle." Bai Yi Yang said. Driver Tang is one of the people that is kind natured, he is sincere, even Bai Yi Ling have only good opinion about him. Maybe because he have a trauma about children, he is especially protective towards children.

It was Bai Yi Ling who told her about Driver Tang tragic story, he have lost a young son about 10 years ago. His son was hit by a car while on the way back from school and passed away on the spot. Now, he only have a child left, and he is also already grown up. Driver Tang and his wife is living on their own in this town, that's why he is especially kind to them, just another lonely parent.

"I am leaving." Driver Tang wave before getting on his van. Bai Yi Yang sigh as she watch his van drive away. Why does kind people who usually have this kind of sad life?

Along the way, Bai Yi Yang let TongTong's head out so that they can peek at the scenery outside. Anyway, everyone seems to be quiet or chatting with each other so nobody will saw it.

'This should be the road from City Shan right?' Bai Yi Yang said when they passed by a highway that merged with the highway to City Nan.

'Yeah.' TongTong nod. Bai Yi Yang suddenly remember the suspicious thing about Old Jin, but she just brush it off. Right, everyone have a secret, she also have a big secret that she don't want other people to know.

'When are we going to City Shan, Host?' TongTong ask excitedly.

'That is a famous roasted lamb restaurant, when we go on a road trip again later, let's stop there to eat okay?' Bai Yi Yang said.

'Roasted lamb?! Can I eat a whole lamb?' TongTong eyes widened.

'Fine ah, you can eat as much as you want.' Bai Yi Yang said laughing.

'Ah, that's a road to City Qing, there are many interesting things there too, when the holiday come, we will go there too.' Bai Yi Yang point out at a fork.

'What interesting things?' TongTong ask.

'It's surrounded by the sea, their beach is quite pretty. The seafood there should be delicious too.' Bai Yi Yang said a few more things about City Qing and TongTong listen in interest.

Passing by a few more interesting place, they finally arrived at City Nan's bus station. It's way bigger than the one at their small town.

Bai Yi Yang already texted Old man Cui when she enter City Nan just now and now she texted back that she have arrived.

'Wait for a few more minutes, he should be there soon.' Old man Cui replied her. While waiting, Bai Yi Yang also called Bai Yi Chen to tell him about her arrival. Now is already 5.45 pm so Bai Yi Chen seems to be in the kitchen.

"What are you making for dinner?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Just throwing in a bunch of ingredients into the pot, we are making simple soup now." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Soft tofu and shrimp soup." Bai Yi Ling voice in the background can be heard. Bai Yi Yang laugh when she heard this.

"Yeah, you heard that." Bai Yi Chen said after that.

'Not bad ah.' TongTong who is also listening praise. Since they are out now, TongTong also came out of the backpack.

"How about other dishes?" Bai Yi Yang ask again.

"Steamed stuffed tofu and stir fry sausage with big onion. Xiao Ling is making them." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Alright, I may be a bit busy later. When I arrive at Old Cui house I will tell you." Bai Yi Yang said.

"What time are you going back tomorrow?" Bai Yi Chen ask.

"If I finished early then take the 1.30 pm bus, if not then take the 3.30 pm one." Bai Yi Yang said. She already check the schedule tomorrow.

"Alright. Be careful there." The twins hang up after chatting for a while.

Just like Old man Cui said, not long after the driver called and Bai Yi Yang found him not long after that. They didn't stop by anywhere and head straight to the Cui's residence, it takes a while because of the rush hour, Bai Yi Yang only arrived at around 6.45 pm and settle down.
