Chapter 202: Uninvited guest at night

That night, Bai Yi Yang made another chilli crabs dish. Together with it she made steamed eggs with shrimp flesh, and eggplant dish.

The siblings had dinner in gusto as usually. In the family, there is no one who eat a little amount now, Bai Yi Yang appetite has increased a lot together with her power, Bai Yi Ling who eat like a cat before also eat a lot now, don't say about the other 3 siblings, they eat a lot at the first place.

TongTong the cat is not a small eater either, it always have a bulging stomach but it haven't grow much, only becoming fatter. TongTong new nickname is fatty kitten, something that TongTong very proud about.

As for the puppies, they only eat dog food, occasionally during the weekends Bai Yi Yang will cook a healthy food for them, but Bai Yi Yang can't do that during weekdays so their supplies of food is bought from G Supermarket. Half of it is stored at Old Zhou house. Oreo and Cookie is actually half their dogs and half Old Zhou house dogs. They received lots of love from the children in the villages because they are very fat and good looking.

After dinner, Bai Yi Yang and her siblings returned to the Main house. Bai Yi Yang did her homework and texted with Su Long for a while after that.

"Su Long?" Bai Yi Chen ask when her phone keep getting notifications from a while ago.

"En." Bai Yi Yang said and check the message, she laugh aloud after that and send a reply, Su Long sent her a meme.

"Ge, don't misunderstood. I already ask him last Friday, he don't like me, he even call me shortly. We are really just buddies now." Bai Yi Yang said before Bai Yi Chen can say anything.

"I didn't say anything." Bai Yi Chen defend himself. Actually, he really have suspicion against Su Long. He have known Su Long for long, and he never seen him being close with girls, Bai Yi Yang is the first one. But, since Bai Yi Yang had clarify it, he cannot say anything anymore.

"En. Good." Bai Yi Yang nod and look away. The conversation ends there.

At 9.00 pm, the siblings gather in front of the TV and watch a real horror movie, a story where the ghost at the well comes out of the TV and start killing people. The visuals was quite shocking, even for Bai Yi Yang. TongTong jump because of being too scared a few times, the effect of the movie is really strong.

The rain is strong too, it started around 8.30 pm, now at almost 11.00 pm, the rain is getting heavier. The outside is also darker than usual, so it was a bit scary. All the lights outside the houses are turned on, even the one in the central yard because it was a bit too dark. Usually they didn't turn on every lamp, but on rainy days they always do this.

"Ge, let's sleep here today?" Bai Yi Mo said.

"En, please sleep here gege, we are scared." Bai Yi Fang also said.

Even going to the toilet, Bai Yi Fang and Bai Yi Ling will drag their oldest sister together, it was the same case for Bai Yi Mo, Bai Yi Chen is always dragged together. The children is really scared, TongTong is scared too, it meowed a few times at Bai Yi Chen asking him to stay at the Main house with them.

'My host cannot be trusted, she is scared too.' TongTong wanted to say this to Bai Yi Chen.

'I am not…well maybe a bit.' Bai Yi Yang admitted it. The horror movie quality was quite good.

"Then we sleep on the floor." Bai Yi Chen said to Bai Yi Mo. This is quite funny, he never know that Bai Yi Yang is also scared of ghost. He thought she is scared of nothing.

So, that night, Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Mo camp on the ground with the foldable mattress while the girls sleep on the bed. They all sleep in Bai Yi Fang's princess bedroom.

Bai Yi Chen bring over the extra mattress from the store room and he and Bai Yi Mo make the bed at the floor.They chatted about a lot of stuff, even when Bai Yi Chen is already sleepy, his siblings keep waking him up since they don't want to become the last one to fall asleep. Bai Yi Chen is only allowed to sleep when Bai Yi Mo finally fall asleep too.

Dong! Dong! Dong!

A loud banging on the door followed by the dogs loud barking woke Bai Yi Yang up. Even with the heavy rain, it still woke her up.

'TongTong, is that someone knocking on the gate? Did the village got flooded again?' Bai Yi Yang ask as she open her eyes. Maybe like last time, there are people suspended on the foot of the mountain too.

TongTong is also awake. TongTong stretch a bit and listen to the sound outside again, but, only the puppies are being noisy now.

'I am not sure, I will go check it. Host, don't come out yet before I tell you.' TongTong jump out if the bed, Bai Yi Yang also do so carefully so that she won't wake her siblings up.

However, Bai Yi Ling is still woken up by her movement and the puppies loud barking. The bedroom is tightly close, so the heavy raining sounds from outside is not that loud, but the barking is overpowering the rain sound.

"Jie? What's the matter?" Bai Yi Ling ask. She look around confusedly in the dark and sat up.

"It's nothing. Go back to sleep.." Bai Yi Yang said this but she cannot help but get worried.

Bai Yi Yang open her mobile phone to check if they got any missed calls from the villagers or something. If there really is flood then she can't let the people outside to wait long. But there is nothing, no calls or messages.

"Jie, is there someone outside? The puppies is barking nonstop." Bai Yi Ling is also freshly awake now, she didn't go back to sleep but listen carefully too.

Now that the two of them are talking, even Bai Yi Chen is up. He stood up, open the bedroom door and walk out to the living room. He then turn on the living room lamps.

"Ge, wait for a while, wait for me." Bai Yi Yang said, a bit worried, she rush to stand up. It's 3.15 am, who will knock on someone's door during this time?

'TongTong, what it is?' Bai Yi Yang ask when she saw TongTong jumping from the roof.

'Host, I think you need to see this yourself.' TongTong said in serious tone. TongTong is completely wet so Bai Yi Ling went to fetch a towel and hug the kitten as she wipe the rain water.

"Where did you come from TongTong?" Bai Yi Ling ask TongTong who is inside her older sister's embrace.

'Someone is outside? Human?' Bai Yi Yang ask. Actually she is still affected by the movie a bit to be honest. If this were other day, her thoughts would have been different but they just watch a horror movie.

'Human, an injured man. It's quite messy in front of the gate, I think he lost a lot of blood. There a re blood on the ground.' TongTong said. It is making loud meowing sound in Bai Yi Ling and Bai Yi Chen ears.

'Is it someone we know?' Bai Yi Yang ask again. Her head start making various scenario, did someone dump a body on front of their house?

'No. It's not very clear but I never seen him before. He is alone, I have look around, there is no other people.' TongTong said. It is a bit rushed but he is sure that the human is alone.

"TongTong said there is an injured man outside." Bai Yi Yang think for a while and decided to tell her siblings.

"Huh?" Both of Bai Yi Chen and Bai Yi Ling react, looking at Bai Yi Yang weirdly.

"No matter what, there really is an injured man outside. He had lost a lot of blood." Bai Yi Yang repeat. How she know about the injured man is not important, the important thing is that some man is out there, injured and losing a lot of blood.

"What should we do?" Bai Yi Yang ask Bai Yi Chen, she is frowning. She real don't want trouble, but if she don't do anything the person may die at their door, if she do something that man may bring trouble to them. She is in dilemma.

"Xiao Ling, return to the bedroom and lock the door. No matter what don't open the door, bring your phone too and ready to call the police." Bai Yi Chen said.

"How about you and jiejie?" Bai Yi Ling is worried. She hug the drenched TongTong closer.

"He is alone. We can beat an injured man on our own." Bai Yi Yang said confidently.

"Then, quickly return." Bai Yi Ling bite her lips and enter the bedroom before they can hear the locking sound from inside. Only then did Bai Yi Yang and Bai Yi Chen stood up.

'Host, don't worry. I have check him, he is too weak to fight and there are no weapons on him.' TongTong send a voice to Bai Yi Yang since it is inside the bedroom with the children now.

'Okay, noted. You look after the children.' Bai Yi Yang said. But, just in case, she still hold a small wooden stool that she found in front of the workshop.

"Yang Yang, you stay behind me. If he suddenly attack me, you hit him, understand?" Bai Yi Chen said. He is not saying this to show that Bai Yi Yang should be protected behind him, this is to let the enemy put his guard down, it is very clear that Bai Yi Yang is way stronger, he is just the bait here.

"En." Bai Yi Yang nod.

The twins inched closer to the gate, now that they are here, the puppies also calm down. The twins signal each other, count to 3 then open the boulder which keep the gate locked from inside. What comes into their view is really a man, a tall man lying face down on their house concrete stairs. As what TongTong said earlier, the step is a mess now, it is covered in blood mixed with rain water.

"Ge." Bai Yi Yang look worriedly.

"Excuse me, sir. Are you alright?" Bai Yi Chen step forward and ask. While at this, he also look around but find no other people, even if there is someone, they won't be able to see it because of the heavy rain.

Bai Yi Chen become braver and crouch down and try to look at the person closer. He put his finger in front of his nose and he can feel a shallow breathing but under the entrance lamp, his face looks very pale.

"Yang Yang, fetch an umbrella." Bai Yi Chen instruct.

"Oh. Bai Yi Yang ran to the storage room and take out a big umbrella.

"Ge, are we saving him?" Bai Yi Yang ask frowning.

"Save. He is alive, bring him inside first." Bai Yi Chen said.

"How about calling police or ambulance first?" Bai Yi Yang said. She really don't want anything to do with this. Fine, they will save the stranger, but not in their house.

"Alright, you bring the umbrella over and cover him from the rain. I will go take the phone. If he try to do anything, just knock him out." Bai Yi Chen said.

"En." Bai Yi Yang nod. She came forward and take her brother place next to the man while Bai Yi Chen run inside.

"Hey? Hey, sir?" Bai Yi Yang try poking the person with the her feet, the umbrella is slightly moved towards the lying man only enough to cover half of his body from rain. She don't want to get to close, what if he died and they found her hair or something.

"Eugh.." The man groaned and move a bit.

"Eh? You awake?" Bai Yi Yang crouch down.

"Don't..don't call the police.." The man look up, his hand firmly grasp Bai Yi Yang's arm and stare at her in the eyes as he said this. His hair is wet, there are blood at the side of his mouth but it's impossible for Bai Yi Yang not to recognise this man.

"Huh!" Bai Yi Yang gasp in shock.

"Qi Sheng?" She called out the name. Her hold onto the umbrella loosened up and it was blown away by the strong wind. Because of this, her loose hair also blown by the wind, she immediately feel chills down her spine.
