Chapter 120: Pizza night and Gossiping

The notification ring when Bai Yi Yang finished taking out the Steamed pork belly with taro from the steamer. Actually she made this last night, she prepared 5 portions and send 1 portion to Old Zhou house.

The preparation for this dish is quite difficult, she need to prepare the pork belly by blanching and frying, then slicing the pork belly and taro before marinating them. After that, she arrange them in alternating pattern in a bowl and steam it for 90 minutes in advance before it can be stored into the fridge. Other than that she also need to make the sauce to be poured over the dish. It takes a lot of time but they are really delicious, so she is willing to spend the time to make them.

Last night she already made them in advance so today she just need to steam it again and adjust the sauce. Other than that, she also cook a simple lettuce with oyster sauce and garlic. And that is their dinner.

The siblings had their dinner and they really like the dish today. They finished all their food in no time.

"Jie, I am not lying this time. I can eat this again for lunch tomorrow." Bai Yi Mo said. Bai Yi Yang agree, she also feels like she can eat this again tomorrow. She is not trying to be a narcissist, but her cooking is really the best. Even in the other world, she never tasted better food than now.

"We will eat it again tomorrow." Bai Yi Yang said.

"I think jiejie is the best cook in the world." Bai Yi Fang praise.

"En. I found the food at cafeteria quite good before, now they really taste inferior." Bai Yi Ling agree.

"Since all of you are praising me, then tonight jiejie will make a supper. How about pizza?" Bai Yi Yang said.

"Pizza?!" Her siblings ask uniformly.

"Yess!! I want pizza.." Bai Yi Fang cheers.

Bai Yi Yang laugh and went to make pizza dough, she made enough for two large pizza. The children also stays in the kitchen to watch her made it. Since the dough need to raise, Bai Yi Yang went to take a bath first. But when she returned, her siblings is still waiting in the kitchen.

"You need to wait for a while more. Why don't you wait in the living room." Bai Yi Yang said.

"No, no. We will wait here." Bai Yi Fang said.

"Oh right, just now we saw Grandpa Jin in the village. He is cleaning his paddy field when we passed by." Bai Yi Mo said.

"Oh, Grandpa Jin is back already?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"It has been a few days. Grandpa Zhou told me last time." Bai Yi Chen answer.

"En, I see. He work in City Shan before, as driver?" Bai Yi Yang ask. No matter what, she is still curious when Old Jin is mentioned.

"He said he was. His employer is busy, so he cannot go back to the village for years. Now that he is retired, he finally have free time." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Eh, ge. Last time you mentioned about a young master, you remember his face? How is he like? How old? What does he do?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"En. I indeed remember because at that time, Grandpa Jin told me that the young master ask him to help us, so he will help send us to Qinfang Village. However, I didn't saw his face, he sits at the front seat and he didn't say a words too, only Grandpa Jin talk to me. He looks quite young from the back, two years ago, he doesn't look like a grown up man, at most early 20s. Since he is willing to help us, I guess he must be nice person." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Ohh, so mysterious. Then, do you notice anything else that is odd?" Bai Yi Yang ask.

"Nothing bah. The car is very nice and looks very expensive, so I was worried all the time that we leave a stain." Bai Yi Chen said. Recalling that night, Grandpa Jin and that young master is really their saviour.

"I also remember a bit, the young master doesn't look that well at that time, he is covered in blanket and looks quite pale, maybe he is really sick." Bai Yi Ling add. Ohh, it's either he is sick or he I injured.

"Grandpa Jin is kind. He even invite us to have some snacks. We chat about the village for a while before he send us to go back." Bai Yi Mo add.

"What did you chat about?" Bai Yi Yang ask casually.

"Just this and that. And Grandpa Jin said that our mountain is very good so I tell him about our house, orchard, vegetables farm and more." Bai Yi Mo said, he looks proud of himself.

Bai Yi Yang was dumbfounded, this kid. Can't he not tell anyone about their life to other stranger for a second. What a headache. Bai Yi Yang sigh silently.

'With my judgement, I conclude that he do it purposely to know more. But his act of kindness doesn't seem to be fake too.' TongTong said.

'Forget it bah.' Bai Yi Yang said.

After that, Bai Yi Yang proceed to make 2 simple pizza. She spread the two pizza dough onto the pizza pan. She choose to make two different toppings which is extra cheese pizza toppings with pizza sauce, sliced and shredded mozzarella, parmesan cheese, and some pizza seasoning. The second pizza is topped with pepperoni, sausage and cheese.

Then she pop it into the oven for 12-15 minutes, before putting it at the broiler for 1 minute each. Her siblings drool when they saw the pizza taken out of the oven. Bai Yi Yang took the pizza slicer and divide each pizza into 8 parts.

"Wahh!" The children cheers when the pizza slice is put on their plate. TongTong also have it's own portion.

"This is even more delicious that the one we ate last time in City Nan." Bai Yi Ling comment.

"Right, this is much more delicious." Bai Yi Mo also agree.

Bai Yi Yang taste the pizza and was shocked. This is just regular pizza, did cooking also has aura which makes food taste more delicious?

'Host, this is why I like you so much!' TongTong is excited as it munch on the pizza too. Last time, it tasted the pizza bought by the Host, it wasn't as delicious as this one. This is another level.

'Host, are you sure you don't want to upgrade your cooking skill?' TongTong ask.

'No. Now is good enough.' Bai Yi Yang reject.

After that, they enjoyed their early supper until their stomach is full. Bai Yi Yang, Xiao Mo, Fang Fang and TongTong each eat 2 slices, Xiao Ling eat 3 slices and Bai Yi Chen ate 5 slices. Xiao Ling seems to really like eating now, her face is rounder too. Bai Yi Yang smile as she watched her siblings feeling satisfied with the meal.

After cleaning up, they returned to the living room. The siblings sat in front of the TV to watch some movie, Bai Yi Yang took her phone and solve the questions given by Su Long at the same time.

"Didn't you finished your Olympiad questions? Where did this come from?" Bai Yi Chen ask as he see her solve Maths problem.

"Su Long send it to me today." Bai Yi Yang answer. Her attention is divided between the question and the movie showing on TV.

"What's the matter with him these days. I often see him sit in front of you when the teacher is not in class." Bai Yi Chen frown.

"Ah..he wanted to ask questions. He have a lot of questions, he only ask about Maths before, now he ask me different subjects too. You know how he is, I really admire his willpower." Bai Yi Yang laugh softly.

"Not because he wanted to pursue you like the senior from Grade 11?" Bai Yi Chen ask with a smirk.

"Ge! Stop it." Bai Yi Yang hit him with the book that she is holding.

"I just think that he treats you differently. He sometimes discuss with Fang Xiu Ying too, but not that often as he sat in front of you. I didn't say this, other people in our class just noticed it." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Then, I must say something about Wang Qing too. You know how she often bring out your name when she chat with me right? She also likes me because we are twin." Bai Yi Yang said.

"Ignore her. She is reasonable." Bai Yi Chen said.

"Ah, so you knew. Pretentious." Bai Yi Yang said to him before getting back to answering questions.

"If you like someone or have a boyfriend you must tell me. Gege will see what kind of person he is." Bai Yi Chen said again.

"Who wants to have a boyfriend now?" Bai Yi Yang glare at Bai Yi Chen and ignore him for the rest of the night. After finishing answering the questions, Bai Yi Yang snap the answer and send it to Su Long.

Today, other than thank you, Su Long also sends a good night wish and emoji. This small changes make Bai Yi Yang become extra aware. This is all because of Bai Yi Chen instilling ideas into her mind. Now, she also has impression that Su Long might have a crush on her too.

"Nonsense…I have become like this because of Bai Yi Chen.." Bai Yi Yang mumbled when she was almost going to fall asleep. She can't help it but have a different view towards Su Long now.
