"So, my dad..what does he look like?" Hiroki asked glancing at Suguru who was walking slowly to match his speed.
Suguru chuckled and raffled Hiroki's hair fondly, "Well, he has blue eyes and white hair just like you, he also wears glasses because of his eyes."
"I look like him?" Hiroki's eyes were wide with excitement. He probably was trying to imagine an adult version of himself, Suguru noted.
"You do, kiddo." Suguru confirmed with a chuckle.
"Can you tell me more?! Is he tall? What is he like?" Hiroki asked again, his voice significantly more upbeat than before.
"He's tall, we're about the same height, actually." Suguru continued, "He can be loud, dramatic and annoying at times, but he's actually a great person. He has his heart in the right place and all.." Suguru's voice faltered at the near end, remembering his last encounter with Satoru and he muttered, "Unlike me.." under his breath.
"He's a protector." Suguru ended his piece of information about Satoru with that. He tried to make his voice as neutral as he could but his unprocessed emotions lingered in the words, making it sound more emotional than he would like.
Suguru would never have expected that meeting Satoru's kid would make him process his own emotions this much. Not that he would have expected seeing Satoru's kid in the first place, but one could understand why.
Suguru tried to shake off his own train of thoughts and looked at Hiroki who was now staring at him, concerned.
"Are you okay, Uncle Geto?" He asked with a small voice and Suguru could feel a sting in his heart.
"I can call you that, right? You said..you're dad's bestfriend.." Hiroki added quickly and wasn't that adorable?
Suguru couldn't even be mad, that is if he had any intention to in the first place.
"Of course, kiddo. You can." Suguru said, "But, you have to be careful around strangers, okay? Don't talk to them or go with them anywhere." He reminded Hiroki, it was so important that he had to.
"But, you also offered to walk me home!" Hiroki replied.
"True, it's because you were out there alone at a dangerous place and I happen to see you before anyone with ill intentions had so I naturally have to take you to safety. You shouldn't trust everyone tho. Just because I don't mean you harm doesn't mean others won't, okay?" Suguru explained.
"Okay." Hiroki gave a small nod after thinking for a while. Suguru doubted any thinking actually happened but decided not to say anything for now. In the worst case, he could just make sure a few of his curses keep watch of the kid until the kid could actually protect himself. Or Satoru found him.
After a few seconds of silence, Suguru heard Hiroki ask again, "How did you meet with dad?"
"We met at a school for Jujutsu sorcerers. We were both the strongest so we bonded over that and became bestfriends." Suguru answered as brief as he could to that.
"There's a school for Jujutsu?"
"There sure is. I'm sure you will go when you are a bit older." Suguru told him.
"Will I see dad there? Because he is a Jujutsu sorcerer..can I see him if I go there?"
"Yeah, you will." Suguru found himself saying.
"Really? Then, I can't wait to grow up and go there!" Hiroki said enthusiastically.
Suguru wondered if he should let Satoru know because Hiroki looked so happy at the idea of finally getting to see his dad.
Suguru didn't think he still had a soft spot in his heart, maybe this was because this is Satoru's kid and Satoru always was special to him. Suguru pulled the kid into a hug.
"You will see him" , he assured.

Only after making sure the kid was in the house safely, Suguru brought out two of his powerful curses.
Watch the kid at all times and ensure his safety.
That was the command he gave to them.
Whoever wanted to lay a finger on the kid would have to deal with his curses first.
I got so into SatoSugu mood. I assure y'all they are just bestfriends in this, lol
