Beers

Arriving in my room, I asked, "what are we going to do?, play a game?"

"How about we play war? It's been a while since we've played war," Liz said with a smile, because she's very good at games where luck is involved.

"Fine by me, does anyone disagree?", I said, also with a smile, because despite not being as lucky as Liz, I'm the best strategist.

Looking at Gwen, Harry and Peter, and not seeing anyone who wouldn't want to play, I said, "So let's play war", so we started the game.

Forty minutes later, the game is almost over, Gwen has South America, Harry has Oceania and a piece of Asia, I have Africa and a piece of Asia, Peter has only three territories in Asia, already Liz is with North America and Europe, and a part of Asia.

Knowing Liz, and also the goals of the game, I know her goal is to dominate Europe and Asia, or North America and Asia, and seeing that Liz is almost winning, we had to band together to stop her, but what no one expects , is that I'm almost winning too.

Peter tries his luck, attacking Liz's territory, but ends up only losing soldiers, and hands over to me, I place my soldiers in two places, and I say, "It looks like the game is over folks".

Not waiting for them to understand, I start attacking Peter, one territory at a time, until he runs out of territories, finally I take my objective card, and show it, the card says, "Totally destroy the blue army" .

With a shocked face, Peter says, "I had no idea that this is your goal, you didn't attack me the whole game."

With a smile on my face, I say, "I didn't attack you, but I made others attack you, reinforcing my territories close to yours, making others choose to attack you, because it's easier."

Listening to what I said, Liz says, a little annoyed, "I can't believe you did this Jon, I was almost winning".

And so we started talking, until Harry, opened the fridge in my room, and showed what he had put there, when he got to my room, and said, "how about we drink the beers I brought?"

Hearing what he said, I say, "I don't think this is a good idea".

Before I finished the sentence, Liz and Peter had already gotten them a beer, and Gwen looked at me and said, "I'm sorry Jon, but if you can't beat them, join them".

Hearing what Gwen said, and seeing her also getting a beer too, I can't help but sigh, I didn't want this to happen, but do what.

I get up and grab one for myself too, though I can't get drunk.

And so we continued, playing other games, but this time on the computer, we played mainly CS GO and League of Legends, mainly because we are at five, which is the number of players it takes to complete a team.

After a few hours of playing and drinking, three people had fallen asleep, which were Peter, Harry and Liz, probably because it is their first times drinking alcohol.

After putting each one in a guest room, it was just Gwen and me in my room.

Gwen looked a little drunk, but not as much as the others, probably because of her newly acquired powers, I was also a little drunk, as I turned off some of my powers, so I could enjoy the experience with my friends.

Gwen starts to approach me, her face flushed.
