Chapter 17 - Turmoil (1)

The past fourteen days had been rather calm for nigo, although he had experienced some bullies, they were not serious in any way

He had a regular routine of hiding at the infirmary before classes and after school to avoid un necessary troubles. He barely saw zara this past fourteen days as she said that her training had hit a critical condition were she had to be in seclusion majority of the time.

Her training would be ending today and he would be seeing the final results of everything.

Nig o's sensory abilities were sharper than usual this was one of his ways of avoiding trouble. Though he still had his doubts about what that girl told him he was still looking forward to it, he wanted to awaken his core so he could train with his father when he returned.

At this moment nigo was early again to school, this was also one of his tactics in avoiding the bullies. He made sure he was early to school before the bullies and then he would seek refuge at the infirmary and also stay there after school to avoid the afternoon storm.

Nigo was hiding at the side of the nascent section building, he stealthily observed the few students who were around to see if ther was any bully around when suddenly

A hand tapped him by the shoulder.

"!!!" Nigo was shocked by the auras be hind him, he was overly engrossed in the students before him that he took his in from what was behind him.

He also had absolute confidence that he was early and there was no bully who would be in school by now. But the faces he saw behind him was not his everyday type of bully who did it for the fun of it.

It was the three people he currently tried to avoid the most; Yushi, Nelson and their leader Xiao ling

The person who had tapped him was Xiao ling.

"Long time no see nigo" Xiao ling said in a calm tone, he didn't behave like a bully not in the slightest.

"Xiao ling...." Nigo said through gritted teeth

"Heh... from how you were spying on the students were you looking for me?" Xiao ling said with a tinge of mockery in his tone.

"What do you want" Nigo said without any form of fear on his face.

"Huh..... don't you know?" Xiao ling said

"I don't know what you mean by that" Nigo said

"Are you trying to feign ignorance?" Nelson was the one who responded

"Ignorance..... what ignorance?" Nigo asked with a look of confusion

"Perhaps a few broken bones would remind you of what my boss means, boss should i" Yushi said while cracking his massive fist

"There's no need for that" Xiao ling responded

"Are you trying to tell me you don't remember what I said about zara?" Xiao ling said

"Oh...that" Nigo said there was no way he had forgotten what Xiao ling had said

"Yes that" Xiao ling said walking closer to him."And from the looks of it you didn't heed my advice"

"Hehehe I already told you before if you plan to do anything with zara you should tell her your self, I mean even though we barely saw each other this past few days sha never mentioned anything about you" Nigo said

"That is indeed true, now that I think of it I have barely seen her myself and when I do she is always with you, isn't that right nigo" Xiao ling smiled menacingly at nigo at this point all he could see was a sheep waiting to be slaughtered.

"Like I said if you want to do anything you are free to do so" Nigo said ignoring the look on Xiao ling's face.

"I asked you to stay away from her but you refused" Xiao ling said

"Boss let's stop wasting words on this fool and beat the order into him, by the time we are done with him whenever he sees zara he would run away" Yushi said

"I intend to beat the order into him but as the son of the Guardian I will give him the chance to make his decision one last time" Xiao ling stood few centimetres away from nigo

"So what do you say, will you listen to my order or not" he said with a smile on his face

Nigo remained quiet, he knew that agreeing to what he was asked to do would save him for now but how could he choose to leave zara even though he didn't mean it, he could lie right now but that wasn't what true friendship entailed. He also knew that even if he agrees they would still beat him up any way.

Nigo sneered and muttered some words to himself, the words he said couldn't be heard by anyone but himself but they trio could see his mouth move

"What did you say?" Xiao ling asked him

"Your breath stinks!" Nigo said out loud with a smile of disdain on his face

"!!!" The three bullies were all shocked by what nigo just said, they planned to make him betray zara then beat him up enter but he had smeared shit on their faces instead

"Uwaaaaahh"

Words couldn't describe the anger that Xiao ling felt, he had never been insulted by any one in this manner since the day he was born. His utility energy erupted and his smile disappeared, what replaced it was the look of anger plaster on his face.

Nelson and Yushi moved backwards from Xiao ling, their face grew dark at the display of utility energy that had erupted from Xiao ling's body. They had never seen him this angry before.

YOU!!

Xiao ling thundered as he threw a fist in his fury at nigo. Although nigo didn't feel any suppression on his body he couldn't deny the fact that the punch heading his way would break almost all his bones in his body.

Blood flew out of his mouth as he was driven into the wall be hind him by such power.

A kick followed after the punch from Xiao ling, he was so furious that he had forgotten nigo was a cripple. Even his friends behind him were shocked by his loss of rationality

Xiao ling shouted as he sent nigo body flying for some metres.

At this point students who were around started rushing over to see what was happening

Nigo landed heavily on the floor, blood oozing out of his orifices

Xiao ling's chest rose and fell as he breathed heavily in anger.

Blood flowing from nigo's body began to form a puddle but to everyone's surprise he was still conscious, a cooked smile appeared on his bloodied face.

His consciousness was hazy but he could still feel the anger radiating from Xiao ling's body.

"Let's go" Xiao ling thundered as he stormed off in anger, anyone who saw him gave way for him no one wanted to be the next to receive beatings this morning.

"Is he dead?" Nelson asked

"Yes he is, can't you sense his life core still active, he would only end up in the hospital" Yushi responded

"I've never seen boss this angry before, just thinking of his face sends shivers down my spine" Nelson said

"Stop being a scary cat and follow after boss" The two of them left.

Nigo was still conscious the whole time so he heard their conversations, although Xiao ling seemed like he had lost his temper, he didn't unleash more than twenty percent of his true strength at him.

"I'm such a waste" Nigo said to himself, his consciousness growing muddy when heard a familiar voice

"Nigo are you okay?" The once entered his ears before he passed out.

United Royal Infirmary

A younster could be seen lying on the bed facing the roof of the infirmary, he eyes were closed meaning he was still unconscious.

The youngster opened his eyes to see the light directly penetrative his eye sockets.

Nigo slowly sat up on the bed, it was an all too familiar place. Thus, he didn't feel any atom of surprise.

"Zara brought you here" a fairy like voice entered his soul.

Nigo turned to look at the person who just spoke to him. He saw senior syd looking at him with face of both anger and worry. "Here comes the big one" he thought to himself

"Why didn't you come here the moment you came to school?" She asked

"I.."

"I told you to make sure you come here whenever zara isn't around to avoid you getting hurt" Senior syl didn't let him finish before cutting him off

"Now look what they did to you, look how much damage they did to your body, what if you had died?"

"Senior syl there's nothing to be worried about. I'm fine aren't I?" Nigo said in self defense. Senior syl had always cared for him and his friends when ever anything happened them. so her reaction was completely in chracters.

"You're just lucky you got off light" she said with a calm tone

"Thanks for your treatment" Nigo said with a smile on his face.

"There's no need for that" She responded

Nigo looked out side to see the sun and asked "how long have I been unconscious? "

"For about an hour" she replied

"Shit!!" Nigo said and jumped off from the bed

"Why are you in such a hurry?" She asked looking at the frenzied nigo

"I have to be in class right now" Nigo said looking for his bag. He picked it up and started walking out of the infirmary

"Thanks, once more" he said before walking out completely.

"Sigh" Senior syl sighed before going back to her table to sit

The moment nigo d topped out he bumped into someone who was coming from the opposite direction

"Sorry" Nigo said immediately turning around to see the girl, it was none other than lucy

"Mind where you're going turd face" the girl said with a cold snort and walked away

"Sigh" Nigo heaved a deep sigh as he wondered what she would be doing outside of class by this time, he wanted to know why

Nigo headed for his classroom and

He pushed the door open, every one turned to look at the individual who would dare barge into the class at this time.

They were all shocked when they found out it was nigo. Tega didn't have any reaction because no one could see his clearly, Tadashi was slightly surprised by nigo foolishness.

Nigo walked in majesticall, there was no emotion on his face, the teacher sir Yuji flew into frenzied rage

"Why are you coming now!" He thundered

Nigo didn't bother responding as anything he says would be dragged out by Sir yuji

"So, after remaining a cripple for so long you plan to, drag your father's image further into the mud by becoming notoriously known for lateness" he said

But to his surprise and that of everyone present nigo didn't say anything, he didn't even stop moving he continued on until he got to his seat.

Sir yuji became angry but he was also afraid, nigo was the son of the guardian which means that he could behave any way he wanted, especially with the way things were in the school currently. forget about dealing with him he could even end up in a er difficult situations with the guardian later.

He wiped away the look of fear on his face and shouted "The next time you come late, I will send you out!"

It sounded like a warning but anyone who heard it would know that he was scared of nigo but was trying to save face.

Tadashi looked at nigo and grew confused, who was this kid exactly for the teacher to be scared of him? He wondered

Thee teacher continued with his class

"Today is the last day of school and from next term you all would be moving on to practical field training before the final exams. So you should all use this one month break to improve yourselves because by next term we would be dropping some people with low attitude. I advice that if you have a way to raise you strength and increase your evolution then do so"

Everyone remained quiet no one knew the requirements to continue in the school next term so they were all thinking of ways to raise their strengths.
