Tony wakes up

Sorry for the late update. Was dealing with some documents. I was literally scrambling for getting them together. Anyway went to the city hall, finished everything. And it was a load off my shoulders.

So done with that. Freaking Finally. Was really stressing out about it. Enjoy the chap. Will try to write more to make up for being late. Enjoy the chap. Avengers Tower. Medbay (A few days after Ward healed Tony)

Inside the Medbay Tony and The Capitan were lying on the beds.

Daisy was discharged having woken up two days earlier. And Thor was taken to Asgard.

Suddenly The machines near Tony started beeping and the man himself started to move a bit.

"UGH. Where am I?"

The doors opened,

"TONY!!"

Pepper and Rhodes quickly entered having gotten a message from Jarvis that Tony was starting to wake up

" Did anyone get the license plate of the truck? I am definitely suing them." He gave a forced smile

Pepper started crying, relieved that he was OK.

"Hah Good to have you back Tony" Rhodes gave him a small smile his shoulders relaxing now that Stark woke up.

"Welcome back to the land of the living" Steve says having woken up from the noise

Stark turned his head to look at him "Oh hey! Didn't see you there. Need a hand to sit up? Seeing as both your arms are still in casts. I'm sure we can call a nurse to help you out"

"Ha.. Ha.. Ha.. Good to see being in a coma hasn't dulled your sense of humor Tony." Cap sarcastically laughed

"What can I say. It's a gift. So anybody wanna tell me what happened and why I can't feel my legs?" Tony said in a cheerful voice but he was preparing for the worst

"Tony you were stabbed by the two enhanced kids you faced Sokovia. The dagger was poisoned" Pepper says in a soft voice while holding Starks's hand

"They got away. We called the wizard over to help you. But he only got rid of the poison and didn't heal the damage that was caused by it. There was a lot of damage done to your lower body. I'm not sure if it was a miracle or Ward's doing but at least you can still have kids." Rhodes stopped but seeing as Tony was keeping quiet he continued

"We think the main reason he didn't heal you was because he already warned us about them. He also had a message for you 'I told you so' "

"Sigh" Tony just let out a long sigh

" Well I'm still alive arent I. This could have gone much worse" Stark gives a wry smile, already accepting the fact that he won't be able to heal his legs

"Kinda Ironic if you ask me. When we were in The Senate Hearing before Ivan attacked I mean. I said that the IronMan suit wasn't a weapon but a 'high-tech prosthesis'. Well it actually turned out to be true"

Rhodes cringed a bit at that

"No. No. Don't worry I already have one of the best doctors in the State on this. Tony I will call Dr. Steven Strange. He can help you. He has helped people with worse injuries"

"Wait I know him he is that asshole doctor who thinks he is hot shit. Almost everybody in the Military knows him. He saved a lot of our guys. He definitely has talent and skill. But he has the worst people skills I have ever seen. The man is a genuine ass." Rhodes cuts in

"Ass or not if he can help Tony then we-"

"-What did Helena say?" Tony interrupts Pepper

Pepper started biting her lips

"Helena tried her best. Even the high-tech machine that fixed Clint's fatal wound. The poison was too strong. Trying to fix the damage it caused is too risky. Both of your legs are too scarred and damaged. Trying to fix that will be extremely painful. You could just die from the pain of the procedure. " Rhodes cuts in and helps Pepper out even it he just repeats what Hellena told him

Stark just takes a deep breath and smiles. "Hey, it's no problem. I can just make a pair of new prosthetics."

"Tony.." Pepper looked heartbroken. He was giving up on his legs

"Hey at least now I can finally do what you have always been telling me to do. Rest and spend more time with you. And it only took me losing my legs to figure it out. Well better late than never," Pepper just dived in and hugged him

"Tony are you saying what I think you are saying" Cap says sadly.

"Yeah, I can still make it work if I wanted it to. Just a chip in the brain, and it would be just like before. But I don't want to. I.. I'm done. IronMan.. is done. It's time for me to retire." Pepper looked at him in shock

Stark just gave them a big smile "Hey it's not the end of the world. I just need to find a good replacement. And the Iron Legion is still here. They can pick up the slack. Now I don't know why but I want some shwarma.

Shwarma anyone? Jarvis please order Shwarma"

His words lifted the gloomy mood in the Medbey.

But the world will be turned upside down. IronMan is retired. And things are about to get ugly

### Bora Bora

"Ahhhh this is the life" a Blond man in his 40s was relaxing on a quiet beach in Bora Bora

Doctor Bruce Banner died when the Hulk was separated from him. His new alias given to him by Tony was Bruse Wayne. An entrepreneur who was having some downtime in Bora Bora.

A new haircut. Both color and style. Colored contact lenses. Different clothes. His real face isn't well known to the public. And in all the pictures he looked like a mess.

Now all he has to do is enjoy himself and stay low.

"Another drink please"

"Of course Sir. Would you like anything else?" Just as he was about to ask for something he noticed a woman walking into the sea. She had black hair, brownish skin and very soft features. A body that most women would envy and moved in a very graceful way.

"No that would be all. Thank you"

Hmmm well, she is definitely of my league. But I can give it a shot. Now that the Hulk is gone I don't really have an excuse. At worst she will reject me.

Let's see if Bruce Wayne has a shot.

No Tony has no idea who Bruce Wayne is. He just changed the last name. Like some people do when they get a fake name. Just not to confuse themselves. Most people give out their first name on habit. This is so he doesn't screw up.
