Luminous world (home of the rulers)

The palace of the rulers overflowed with divine might that would make many kneel in worship. Inside this palace sat the emissaries of God, the rulers, the fragments of brilliant light who ruled most of the universe. At this very moment they all had solemn looks as they discussed how they would deal with the issue regarding the Absolute being on the planet in which the shadow monarch is on.

"How are we going to solve this new problem?" The brightest fragment of brilliant light said.

"Perhaps take our armies and raze the planet to the ground to find the fragment of the Absolute being?" One of the rulers suggested. Normally, the rulers are associated with the path of hope and kindness to the universe, yet in actuality, these beings were cold hearted and would do anything to get rid of an enemy. This had happened multiple times in the past, for example when they rebelled and killed their creator, they almost killed their brother, Ashborn. Another example was on earth where they bestowed their powers to the humans in hope that at least a few of them could survive the monarchs destruction.

"No, the shadow monarch wouldn't condone to the destruction of a planet" said another ruler and they all agreed.

"Are there any universal treasures that can force the fragment of the Absolute being out?" Said a female ruler. (I don't know if they are called that it just sounds cool. The cup of reincarnation is one)

"No, but perhaps we can use one of them to sense the location of the fragment, they were all created by him" a male ruler said to which they all agreed to this proposal and called one of their emissaries in.

"You have called, your majesties" the emissary said bowing.

"Go inform the shadow monarch of our plan and that it will happen in the next 10 years" the brightest fragment of brilliant light said and told the emissary their plan as he bowed again and left.

"That settles that, now then, what about any hostile natives on the planet" a female ruler said.

"Ah, we forgot about that, perhaps the shadow monarch could do this for us?" A male ruler said.

"After everything he's done for us and the universe, you want to ask him to fight for us?" A female ruler said displeased.

"Well when you put it like that than it would sound bad" the same ruler said retracting his question shyly.

"We shall use our armies. The shadow monarch has done too much for our sake, this time we shall help him out" the brightest fragment of brilliant light said before contacting the emissary and telling him of their updated plans.

"Let's hope that it isn't anything to serious" A female ruler said as they looked solemnly into the distance.

Sung Jin woo POV

It was time to introduce Alea to everyone and I had to say, I may not look it, but I am nervous as hell. I was wearing a black suit like normal and Alea was wearing a stunning dress that increased her beauty by a thousand fold. I hadn't realised it but I was staring at her until she coughed and I saw that she was red with embarrassment as I blushed lightly as well and looked away as she chuckled and came up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

I turned and smiled as she cuddled into my chest as I put my hands on her waist and pulled her closer, kissing her head. She looked up and smiled.

"We should get going, unless you have other plans" she said teasing me as I blushed and mumbled something under my breath. I thought of something immediately and smiled mischievously, making sure Alea could see as her eyes widened when I took her off her feet and held her bridal style.

"P-p-put m-m-me d-d-down, we n-n-need to leave" she stuttered making me chuckle.

"It seems my other plans will need to wait" I said whilst her face turned a deep shade of red and I put her down.

"Let's go then" I said putting my arm around her waist and disappearing into the shadows.

I made sure that everyone was ready beforehand and not surprisingly they were. I noticed that they where stood there nervously in what looked to be very expensive clothes. I could see that Arthur wore a tight sight as he was clawing at his neck to breathe as i smiled lightly. Rey was wearing the same clothes but looked even more uncomfortable as Vincent wore a black suit that befitted his title as a merchant. Alice was dressed in a green dress that matched with Ellie's as I looked to the side and tessia was wearing a light flowery dress. There clothes made me feel underdressed as I sighed and thought that I should try and understand this planets cultures.

I stepped out of the shadows with Alea at my side as there faces revealed a shocked expression whilst looking at us. The ones who won the award for best expression was Arthur and Tessia. Arthur looked shocked as I could tell that he knew Alea from somewhere and Tessia looked like she'd seen a ghost as Alea was with her for most of her childhood.

"Are you going to stand there gaping all day or are you going to come say hi?" I asked as Alea laughed lightly next to me. They snapped out of their gaze as Alice rushed up to her and began introducing herself. I sighed at her antics as I finally realised something, Alice was an extrovert.

"Hi, my name is Alice, it's nice to finally meet you" she said smiling and taking Alea's hand and shook it.

"Hello, I am Alea, it's nice to finally meet you too" Alea said as I smiled at the fact that she didn't feel overwhelmed by the sheer force of Alice's, what's the word, over the top happiness.

"What a beautiful name" Alice said as Alea blushed and pulled her by her hand and walked in the mansion. I sighed at the prospect of how long this night would be and how I would rather be hunting monsters, but I couldn't complain that much. I get a hand on my shoulder and turned to see Rey giving me a thumbs up for approval whilst Vincent nodded approvingly. I sighed and walked inside the building until I was stopped by Arthur and Tessia, and I saw the thirst for information in their arms

"What?" I replied, trying to make it seem like I didn't know what they were after. This seemed to irritate them even more as they flooded me with questions of about how I met her and how I managed to get her to love me and other annoying stuff.

"Calm down, I'll tell you later" I said and moved past them as they glared at me in frustration.

I reached inside and sat down next to Alea as she and Alice talked like long lost friends. It terrified me how quickly they managed to become friends as everyone else filed in and I could tell that they had the same thoughts as I had. Tabitha walked in and introduced herself to Alea as the three women sat down and talked for what seemed like hours. One thought ran through my mind, how the hell can they talk for so long? After what seemed like another eternity of waiting, honestly the chaos world is more fun than listening to them talk, dinner was ready and we walked to the dining room.

After sitting down the menu of today was a 5 course meal of expensive recipes that the auction house had bought. Much to my annoyance I realised that I would have to eat, I don't even know why as well, I can survive all of creation without food and now I'm having to eat with others. Alea noticed the thoughts going on in my head as she tapped me to get my attention and glared at me, basically telling me that I had to eat. I knew she meant it in a caring way but it still annoyed me, and this annoyance grew further as the meal progressed.

"My lord, perhaps it is best if you told them who you are, then you would not be subjected to the consumption of food" I heard bellion suggest, and honestly it wasn't a bad idea but I quickly shut it down as I wondered how I would tell mortals of a god that had practically invaded their lives as a vacation.

"No bellion, besides it's not as if I don't like food I just find it irritating" I mentally replied to him and cut the connection off and focused on the conversation. They were discussing Aleas life as she tried asking questions about wether I had any embarrassing moments whilst with them. I smiled to myself seeing the look of defeat on her face.

The meal continued until the 3rd course when I felt a familiar presence outside of the mansion. "Excuse me" I said and got up and walked out of the mansion and leaned against the wall looking down at the familiar presence.

In front of me stood one of the envoy of the rulers as she relayed the message of the rulers as I pondered over their words. Overall it was a good plan but I cracked a smile at the last part of the plan, in which they would bring their armies here in order to ward off any hostile beings. It seemed that they wanted to either showcase their incredible might, or repay me for everything I've done for the universe. Whatever it was, we now had a full proof plan in dealing with the remnant spirit of the Old man.

"Tell the rulers that I agree to their plan and will wait for them in the next ten years"

"Yes, lord shadow monarch" the envoy replied to me with a voice filled with respect before vanishing on the spot.

I turned around and walked inside the Helstea manor and towards the dining table as I saw that everyone was conversing happily and Alea fit in quite well. I walked towards the table and sat on my chair in between Arthur and Alea as they continued eating. Due to the fact that I had spent the last hundred years doing nothing but sharpening my skills and occasionally visiting my child, I had little time to eat and the thought of finishing off the rest of the meal was not pleasurable.

"So how did you two meet?" Alice asked in complete joy of this situation.

"He saved me from high ranked monsters and stayed by me as I was healing" Alea said smiling fondly as if the happy memories had resurfaced.

"What could be stronger enough to injure a white core mage?!!" I heard Arthur shout loudly next to me as tessia slapped him on the back of his head for his lack of manners causing me to chuckle.

"Sorry" he mumbled quietly.

"It's fine" Alea said.

"But how did you fall in love with Jin woo though, the guy barely cracks a smile?" Rey asked as I twitched in that question and felt the urge to punch him.

"Doesn't he smile with you lot?" Alea asked with a hint of confusion.

"Not much" Vincent said as I sighed in response.

"I am still here you know" I said as I had to repress berus desire to rip something apart as bellion and Igris helped.

"You normally smile when it's us two together though" Alea said directing her gaze to me.

"Do you not want me to show that I'm happy when I'm around you?" I asked wanting to move away from this conversation quickly.

"I... yes" she replied looking flustered as I chuckled at this response and whispered something in her ear which made her face go a deep shade of crimson red as I felt the heat rise off of her.

"Alea are you okay?" Alice asked noticing the change in her appearance. Alea tried to speak but stuttered so much that she stopped half way through from embarrassment.

"It would seem as if she has a sudden illness, I shall take her to rest" I said before getting up and walking off with her.

"Well the dinner was finished anyway so shall we move into the living room" Alice said after reassuring that she was okay as they all moved.

I carried Alea upstairs and to the room that was mine as she was still deeply embarrassed, causing me to laugh softly at this. This made things worse though as she turned even redder.

"Do you have to say things like that around others?" She pouted, well after the first few stutters.

"Am I not allowed to express my feelings before my beloved?" I asked further emphasising the 'beloved' as Alea broke out into laughter at this and sat on the bed.

"So this is your room" she said looking around. "You don't have much decoration"

"I don't need it, it's impractical and I rarely am here anyways so I barely use it" I responded and came before her.

"Anyways, why did you want to speak to me?" Alea said.

"I found it boring to be down there with them, don't get me wrong they're great but it can be overwhelming sometimes" I said and sat down on the bed as she laid next to me. I turned and kissed her on the lips as she went to sleep in less than a minute. I chuckled and closed my eyes, allowing sleep to take me.

Immm backkkk!!

Sorry everyone for making you wait so long. I was very busy with both college and work to the point that I had barely anytime to write this, but now I should be back on schedule on writing. Thank you all for your patience. I hope you enjoyed the chapter, and this will take a turn to the serious side next time as for the novel readers we all know what happened at school, involving a certain arrogant blond pr*ck.
