My first kiss

"Of course, Em! I will make sure to dress well when I meet your family. Do you want me to walk you to the front door? I can meet your family now."

"No, not now," I shook my head. "They're already sleeping. I don't want to wake them up."

Of course, that was a lie. Grandma was sleeping right now, and she was the key to recognizing the red rose man. I needed her to see Mason Hall when she was fully awake. 

"I see," Mason nodded. "Well, I can't wait to meet them and introduce myself."

I was quite surprised that Mason didn't feel the slightest nervousness when I said he would meet my parents. In fact, it sounded like he really wanted to meet my family, much to my wonder.

Because if he was the red rose man, he would be nervous about meeting my parents, even trying to avoid them. 

But nope, Mason seemed to be excited to meet my family. This added to my doubt about the whole thing.
