Lying Through Her Teeth

Roman felt like more of a stalker than he normally did by tailing Penny to the bus stop. He'd had to wait until the group cleared out of the parking lot aside from his younger self to make a move so no one else would get the chance to act first. 

This was one moment he was grateful that Younger Roman was such a hesitant person. This whole plan hinged on him not leaving early. 

Except following Penny didn't seem to be enough. He was hanging around the bus stop now and nothing had happened. What more did he need to do? Did he need to talk to her and make her obviously uncomfortable first? 

He really didn't want to do that. How would he even do it? She might look younger now but this was still Penny they were talking about. He had always been comfortable with her so how was he supposed to act to creep her out?
