Bk 3: Ch– 159 The Meeting(pt-1)

Rosa blinked her eyes. She could not understand why the Elder started a new conversation instead of answering her question. However, a few moments ago, she showed a stubborn character in front of the elders. There was no other reason for her to keep battling them.

“The second brother was Leofrick?” Rosa just asked.

“We regret that the boy should have been taken under us. The rejection was deep inside him, making him choose the dark ways.” Flinst spoke as all the others nodded.

“If only we had kept an eye on the boy, we would have avoided that tragedy. We believe we are also why you were separated from your family.” Fabian spoke as he nodded to Svero.

“The only thing we could do is to keep an eye out for you if you were ever found.” Rosa bites her bottom lips. She took a deep breath, exhaling slowly.

“One cannot justify anything from the past.” She rubbed her arm, and suddenly, the room felt freezing.
