Bk3: Ch– 71 Rescue(pt-1)

The days were not going well for the princess. Nafeesa was angry with her family for the sudden arrangement; now, there was a fight to protect her life.

‘I did not wish to leave the palace.’ she thought when one of the guards screamed her name to evacuate the carriage.

One by one, the guards fell, as well as her maids. They were covered in blood on the ground, looking at her as she thought.

‘Why are these people trying to kill me? Did I make anyone angry?’ Her thoughts were like a child in fear.

There was no connection between the present with her. In front of her, Tahmina was saying something, but it was deaf to her ears. Nafeesa could not hear anything. Her eyes were on the people who were fighting for her. One of the maids ordered her to move.

‘I thought she was mute. Can she talk?’ Nafeesa’s thoughts were too confused as the rain fell on her body.
